  1. What do the tires look like? Mine is quieter than my Nitro was. The front inner fenders are thin plastic. As soon as I picked mine up, I made an appointment to get it undercoated. But, I was more concerned with protection than noise.
  2. Have one side red, the other black. This way you have the best of both worlds! I liked the red.
  3. I think that if you lower the back pressure the warranty people could turn this against you if you develop issues with the engine. I removed my resonator and am hoping for the best.
  4. I like Bosch Icon wiper blades, but the factory must have wanted that big air foil on the front blades for a reason.
  5. If you "get on it", the torque steer with the V6 will rip your arms off! Maybe the AWD will make it feel different.
  6. I removed my resonator to give it a bit tougher sound.
  7. I was going to ask if anyone had changed the factory fronts to something else. The factory fronts have that big airfoil on them.
  8. Lots more choices in 17" Looks good.
  9. I'd get a Car Faxx and also see if you can get the service records. I bought my 2014 new 6/14 and have had no issues at all. One recall and one TSB. I just went over 11,00 miles. I do have the V6 and it is amazing in the snow while being FWD. The Printable Brochure does not list the engine, but does list Auto Headlights and dual HVAC. So there must be an option package that is not listed. I find it amusing that they have it in the "Pick Up" category!
  10. Nice idea. I get an email at least once a month to get a free home receiver w/subscription. Not buying it!
  11. I was hesitant about my FWD in the snow, and started a lengthy tread concerning non AWD in the snow. I changed my factory tires to Bridgestone Dueler Alenza Plus, and I was amazed at the pulling power the vehicle has in the snow. First non 4wd vehicle for me in over 20 years! The AWD might be nice when going around curves (it does kick in for this), but otherwise it is just unnecessary weight. I will go back to Jeep for my next vehicle.
  12. It keeps a smile on my face. He is up to it again on the thread concerning the radio draining a battery. Without grins and giggles, what is the purpose of life? I try to take it all in stride; with a grain of salt. I respect you. I'll stop if you want me to.
  13. Give it up. no sense arguing about the VIN. Bramfrank is always right and we are all out in left field! LOL Now, for this thread. Welcome. When you leave your vehicle, how do you turn off your radio? Do you actually turn it off, or let it turn off by opening the door? I would try manually turning off the radio before exiting the vehicle. There could be a hiccup in the CanBus that is not giving the radio the signal to completely shut down when you open the door. Just a thought.
  14. You are welcome; although one member here may not think so! LOL
  15. Back in the sixties, the mufflers were under the front or rear seats, and the resonators were at the end. My Jeep Liberty Renegade, Jeep Commander, and Dodge Nitro were all this way!
  16. It looks like a sway bar end link. I'd have them put it back on. Instead of twisting, the sway bar end will move up and down; could cause some damage.
  17. Nice job on the paint around the fog lights.
  18. Do you know where your DJ was made? Man, I love the red! It seem to be a redder red than I have seen on the forum. What are you using for the shine? It is awesome!
  19. I agree. Try changing the bulb. Swap your bulbs from side to side, and see if a different bulb solves the problem.
  20. Monroe makes a set of HD struts, and we looked them up at the tire store when I was getting my new battery. It appears that the DJ comes from the factory with these!
  21. That 4,500 is not on the websight! Now, I'll narrow my search to a Cherokee Trailhawk. I priced one out on the web, and it will be around $37,000 to get it the way I wanted. The 2,000 pounds was a killer for me, but not anymore! YaHoo! Funny, my DJ was $10,000 less. Oh, well.
  22. Durango? It is basically a GC with longer rear doors (longer wheelbase) and a 3rd row. Exactly what the new Grand Wagoneer will be. Hmmmmmmmmmmm!
