You have the old style dash with stalks for both lights and wipers. That being said, I'd go for the clock spring.

Mine clunks once, in the front, every morning when I back out of my garage. Outside temp is not a factor.

What code did you get that made you change the transmission fluid? A little more information would be helpful.

The cartons for the Alpine 6x9s that I purchased at Best Buy did not mention anything about shallow mount. I had Best Buy install them and the tech had all 4 done in less than a hour. There is a couch where I could sit in the garage bay as he did the installation. No cutting of anything to have them fit. It is possible that he used a spacer to push the speakers out from the doors, but he never mentioned anything like that, and said it was "a piece of cake" doing the installation. My Invoice says standard speaker install, and the only parts listed are wire harnesses.

Also, with the third row, the cargo area is not as wide to make room for the rear heater core.

I pulled the one in the rear cargo area by sliding a slim screwdriver under the lip and popping it out. The one on the back of the console looks to be the same, so should come out the same.

I know exactly how you feel, and it has been four long, lonely years. Check in to Social Security Disability. You may be entitled to it. I got it based on my VA disability. No appeal. I was awarded it right away. Now, I have been fighting with the VA for 5 years to put me at 100%. Everything you hear about the VA: multiply that by 100 and that is how it really is.

The Alpines that I purchased at Best Buy were 4 6x9s - one for each door. No mounting issues at all. This is the first time that I have heard of Crutchfield giving out bad info. I put a set of Alpine tweeters, with built in x-overs, in the dash. I have a long thread on what I did for my sound system.

Which vent?

I did the Kicker upgrade on three of my previous vehicles. Just swapping out to these speakers improves the sound quality 100%. They were always listed in the Accessory Brochure for each model, but I have never seen anything listed for the DJ. They must have stopped making them, or the business between Kicker and FCA must be over. This is why I swapped all of my speakers for Alpine, because they put out the most bass. These Alpines are NOT the crap paper speakers that Dodge passes off as Alpine. I purchased them at Best Buy.

Just an FYI: The TSB for the 3.6 loud idler pulley: Dealer replaced mine, and told me that if the noise was still there, water pump will be next. Swapping out the idler pulley reduced the sound by 50%. The sound is like a bad power steering pump.

I used to be able to find the phone compatibility list at driveuconnect.com, but they changed the web site. I tried to download to newest version, but it wouldn't let me so I had my Dealer do it. I have no idea what it was supposed to do, and have not noticed any changes.

If it is that far forward, the front of the seat is beyond the track. Look at where the seat rides on the track, get a crowbar and see if you can force it back. The seat back has to be up and the seat cushion down in order to move the seat back.

Waste of money. It would take years to pay for itself.

SRT HellCat version happened. I have one! LOL Because gas is so cheap, FCA is going to convert the Dart/200 Factory to make Rams. If they can't outsource the Dart and 200, they will be dead. FCA will not build any new Factories, but you can't tell me that there are no empty factories anywhere in the country (US or Canada). WTF kind of plan is this? Sir Sergio is becoming a bigger idiot by the day. Not Dart or 200 = no new Journey! Maybe a refresh still built in Mexico.
