I know what you are going through. You will not begin to realize how intertwined your lives are until one of you is gone. I miss Sharon tremendously, and I have no idea how to move on. LawDog lost is wife last fall. It is tough, but God does not give us more than we can carry.

California requires them when driving in the mountains, unless you have 4wd.

On the Nitro, inside the back of front wheel wells was something call a "pinch weld". When the guys would do this to their Nitros, they had to take a hammer to this, to flatten it out so there would be no rubbing on full lock turns. I have no idea if the DJ even has a pinch weld!

NEW AFTERMARKET HEADLIGHTS!
dhh3 replied to mrkick210's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
I was looking at these on eBay yesterday, but I am no totally sold. I put Eagle Eyes Halo Projectors on my Nitro, and never got used to the blue halo and weird light cut off at the top. Can you take a picture of your DJ facing your garage door, with the lights on (low beam) so I can see the cut off. I asked a question to one of the sellers on eBay, and he assured me that the DRLs would continue to work on the high beams. Also, how did you wire the "white planks"? I see that there is a ballast for these, and they need to be hooked into something. On my Nitro, the Halos were like this. I wired them into the side marker lights, so they came on as soon as I turned on my lights. I used waterproof connectors, so that I could remove my headlight assemblies, if necessary, without cutting the wires to the Halos. -
Well, another year has gone by, and my heart still aches for Sharon. I have no idea how long this takes to go away, and finally depart my soul and body. I have a friend who remarried shortly after his wife passed, so I asked him if he had to take down all the pictures. Without hesitation, he blurtd out, "Yes, of course"! I am no where ready for this. The pictures keep me company. Lots of good memories. Before Sharon died, she told me to do two things: get married again and enjoy life and just be happy. So far, not married and have no plans for this. I'm not even looking. But, then again, I wasn't looking when I met Sharon. I was too consumed raising my Daughter. As for the fun/being happy part, I am having the time of my life driving my DJ HellCat Crossroad SRT! I love the looks I get, and the conversations that may ensue when I am parked somewhere. When I go into my Dealer for service, etc., I always hand the kid the RED FOB, which has an SRT Logo on it! The look on his face is priceless, because he has no idea what I am driving! Hug your kids tonight. Give your wives an extra hug and kiss today. One never knows what lies ahead, as we travel, like a leaf flowing down a stream. Thanks for reading. To be continued.

I bought iTunes for dummies. When I originally copied all of my CDs to my computer, some did not display art. If you right click on the album in your iTunes Library, there is a line: Get Album Art. Initially, I found art on the iTunes Store, but because they are an Apple file, they will not display on the radio: only another Apple product. Back to square one. Now, if you happen to have a scanner, printer, you can scan the original CD art and put it in a file on your desk top. Save it as a .jpg (your scanner should ask you how you want to save it). Give the file the name of the CD to make things easy. Then, right click on the album in the iTunes Library, click Get Album Art and choose the art that you just scanned! Bingo. Now, I have to look at all of my albums on my SD card that do not display art, and scan the CD covers. Reload the SD card, and I should be good to go!

Do you really expect us to put our monitors on their left side to enable us to gaze at your mug?

On the top of the bottom hinge is a pawl with dentents that hold the door open at specific intervals. This is where the noise will originate. Put some Lithium grease on the pawls. The detents are semi-circular.

No blowers to fill up the air bags?

That is why I bought a pass. It is a monthly charge for the price of 3 Works Washes, but there is no limit as to how much I can use it. It is a bar code sticker on the inside of my wind shield.

My 1st Dodge... 2016 Journey Crossroads in Crytal Granite
dhh3 replied to TerryH's topic in Photos & Videos
I am so sick of looking at the "Science and Engineering" styling or whatever they call it. Too over the top with the front and rear LEDs. Cadillac moved from Detroit to NYC. The guy that ran Infinity now runs Cadillac: hence to new (stupid alphanumeric) names.- 14 replies

TSB: Idler Pulley Noise 2011-2014 3.6L
dhh3 replied to Milous's topic in Recalls & Technical Service Bulletins
Can you tell where the pump is located on a picture of the front of the engine? Is it also driven by the serpentine belt? The 3.7 in both my Jeep Liberty Renegade and my Dodge Nitro sounded like a diesel upon start up; just the nature of the beast. Ambient temperature had nothing to do with it. No moaning on my 3.6: just the sound of a bad power steering pump! -
TSB: Idler Pulley Noise 2011-2014 3.6L
dhh3 replied to Milous's topic in Recalls & Technical Service Bulletins
I just talked to my Service Manager about this TSB. I had the idler puller replaced about two weeks ago, and he told me that if the noise was still there, to bring it back in and he would replace the water pump. I do not believe in throwing parts at a problem, because my noise sounded like a power steering pump low on fluid. I looked up everything that I could concerning the 3.6, and could not see or find info on the pump anywhere. I figured that the pump must be electric, because I could not see it in any of the front views that I looked at. The alternator is bolted to one side of the engine, and the AC compressor is bolted to the opposite side: to minimize vibration. The TSB stated 32 degrees, but I never heard mine until it was about 0. It was loud. So, I went in today to talk to him and he stated that the power steering pump is electric; that is why he suggested the water pump next. It got down to near zero again, and the noise is probably 50%. He wants me to bring it in again when it gets down to around 0, which may be next winter now. Time will tell, but I'll still be covered. Now I'm still curious about the power steering pump. -
Welcome aboard.

You stated that you would receive the second letter when the parts were in. Since you didn't get the letter yet, parts must not be in.

I like the grill. Now all you need is a set of Crossroad Headlamps!

I have only 2 complaints: the seam on the top of the dash board is constantly reflected in the windshield, and due to the slope of the hood, it is hard to judge where the front bumper is.

There is a "U" shaped heating coil that goes into the engine block, through the hole where the freeze block was. Sort of like an electric hot water heater, but on a much smaller scale.

My Black and Decker has two ends: one normal, the other has an end about 1/2 the diameter of the body, and moves back and forth for deeply piled leaves.
