  1. I just rolled over 10,000 and my thoughts are as yours.
  2. New idler pulley installed today. Now, I have to wait for it to get cold again, and check to see if I can hear anything. If it is still making a noise, they will change the water pump. Does the Pentastar have an electric power steering pump? The only reason I ask is because the noise I was hearing was like a power steering pump low on fluid. Service Mgr made no mention of changing the power steering pump; just the water pump.

    Cracking leather

In mine, they are not wrinkles: probably just stretch lines. Both of my Jeeps did the same thing. If the stretch marks tare, I'll get it replaced.
  4. It's possible that the harness may be there, because they pretty much build them all the same these days. 4 wires on the harness; not very big.

    Cracking leather

I spray on a mixture of Maquires and Armor All, then wipe the seats down with an Armor All Leather Wipe. As for the Saddle Cleaner, ask Mr Ed.

    Rubber Matts

Just be aware that on the Driver's side on the older DJs there is only 1 mat hook; the newer ones have 2 hooks.

Welcome. I get anywhere between 16 - 18 mpg around town. I can average close to 30 on the interstate.
  8. I purchased mine at my Dealer. We (Parts guy and me) had no idea what we were looking for. Just going by where it was mentioned in the Installation Instructions for the Hitch. It actually turns the big round hole into a small oval hole, in which to mount your Flat 4 Pin Connector.
  9. It was around $5 at my dealer. Google the P/N and see what you get. The only reason I knew about this piece is that it is mentioned in the Hitch Install Directions, but not included with the hitch!
  10. I had this same set up on my Nitro. The Nitro could tow 5,000 pounds, so the factory harness terminated with a 7 Pin Connector. But, the DJ is different. The Factory Harness which plugs into the factory plug between the spare and bumper terminates in a flat 4 Pin Connector. More than likely this is because the DJ's maximum tow capacity is only 2,500 pounds (with the right conditions - see owners manual), so Dodge did not see the need for a Seven Pin Connector.
  11. No, it is a piece of black plastic that snaps into the bracket. It has an oval hole in the middle. Then, the oval 4 pin connector will snap into this. P/N 68026722AA. The Bar Code on the plastic bag is 8221 3678 - 001 Does the hitch rub on the black plastic pan at the bottom of the bumper?
  12. If you already have a sensor, you just swap it out for the correct one for Auto Lights. It pulls straight up. Before you remove the sensor from the harness, put some tape over the hole. If the harness falls back through the hole, you are basically screwed!
  13. What are you looking for? Please be more specific as I have all the parts necessary for installation.
  14. Just run a bottle or two of Chevron Techtron through your fuel system, if you feel the need. I does a good job of cleaning the injectors. If I notice a little shake at idle, I always add a bottle.
  15. Glad it all worked out. Take this good advice! ^^
  16. I know that the Art is an insignificant issue to some, but it is a big deal for me. If it is supposed to work, then it had better work. I wish that Dodge had kept the HDs on the radios. Glad that you got it all sorted out. I just purchased some new CDs, so I am going to have to do this all over again!
  17. Let me know if you have issues. I do know that the 2009 and 2010 were basically the same, but there were major changes in 2011 to present.
  18. I can remember when Quebec wanted to secede from Canada and join the US. I wish Indiana would secede from the US and join Canada. It would be fun to show my Passport when traveling to Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois and Michigan. We could tear up all the football fields and replace them with Hockey fields.
  19. This is from my 2014 Manual: There are no individual fuses for the back up or brake lamps. However, there are 2 40a green fuses, labeled "Exterior Lights 1" and "Exterior Lights 2". These are both located in the fuse block under the hood. Hope this helps.
  20. LockPick allows you to have up to 4 cameras. This is the only way I know how you could do it.
