  1. Forgot the Ultra Downey in the washer, and Bounce in the dryer - no static cling!
  2. If they work for turn signals, why won't they work as brakes?
  3. My 2014 didn't come with a BU camera - I had my Dealer install one as part of my deal buying my DJ.
  4. With all the electronics in today's cars, it pays to buy an extended warranty.
  5. Disconnect the negative terminal of your battery for 1/2 hour or so, and let the electronics reset. See if this helps.

    Gas Tank

My Dealer would have shown me the defect, whether I asked to see it or not. The old gas tank is yours and you have a right to see it.
  7. Washer: regular fabrics, normal wash (fast), warm wash, warm dry. 10 minute pre-soak! Dryer: Normal fabrics, time dry (1 - 2 hours). If I find the keys in the bottom of the washer, I leave them on the top of the dryer while it is running.
  8. Did you beat the crap out of him before you lost him?
  9. I just bought a set of Thule snow ski/snow board racks that will clamp on my cross bars. They come with locks, but the first set didn't come with keys! I'm hoping that I can use them for fishing poles. These are listed as a Mopar accessory, so they should fit!
  10. I forgot that I left my keys with FOB yesterday, and tried to lock it with the black button. It would not lock. The horn made no sound and lights did not blink. Then I remembered that the keys were in the cup holder. Removed the keys and it locked. Are you sure that you don't have the key in one of your pockets? I usually put my keys in the ruler pocket of my carpenter jeans and for get that they are there. I have washed them 2 times now. Sometimes I set them on the work bench in my garage. Did you try to lock it 3 times? I can't imagine doing this, as I knew right away yesterday what was going on. Is the FOB under the car? Where is it parked? Did you get two FOBs when you bought the car?
  11. Thank you for the compliments. As soon as I changed the reflectors to the fog lights, no dirt got through the bumper anymore. The lights snapped in just like the reflectors, but they fit tighter. I had no plans to put any chrome on my DJ, but when I saw the piece that surrounds the reflector/fog light, I thought it would look good with the piece on the rear bumper. I also added stainless steel rear tail light "brows" for a subtle look. Both arrived in a week. No more chrome: I like the mirrors and door handles in the body color Buying anything from China made my hair curl. But, I found a mount for an iPad that clips on the center vents; like the one for my phone, only bigger. I figured for $6.15, what the hell. Arrived in a week; good quality and now I can use my iPad Air for GPS! So, I went ahead and ordered the other pieces, also from China. Looks like the stuff made in the US. 3M tape too!
  12. Welcome to the forum. If you use it to lock/unlock your doors it does have a battery in it!
  13. I found this set on ebay. Although it did come from China, the Stainless Steel seems to be as good as anything I have seen from the States. The light from my garage door window makes it look distorted in the center, but it is flat. Took about a week to get here.
  14. Now to add fuel to the fire. The Cherokee, 200 and Dart are all based on a FWD compact Alfa Romeo compact car. Alfa is getting ready to introduce a medium size RWD car with a Ferrari V6, sharing many Meserati parts also. This RWD platform will be used for the next generation Avenger and Journey. Dodge is going to be the low priced performance Division and Alfa will be the higher priced performance division. This means that all Dodges will eventually be RWD; then what happens to the Dart?
  15. weasey31 asked me to post some more pictures. Hope these help! Looking dead on. Looking towards the back. Looking towards the front.
  16. I'm still waiting for the Viper in the showroom to go on sale!
  17. It doesn't take much pressure at all when you inadvertently touch one of the buttons. Way too sensitive, IMHO.
  18. I have these bulbs. I had my Dealer install them for me, when the DJ was on the lift for an oil change. If I take pictures of them, they come out white; but they are yellow. Same amount of light; less reflection in fog, or rain at night
  19. Mine clunks every time I leave the garage for the first time. Then, all is quiet. Dealer looked at it - no issue!
  20. Someone did the same thing to my Jeep Commander. The passenger side front door was replaced, the rear door needed a new skin and it spent 2 days on the frame straightener machine (B pillar took the brunt force). I could still drive it! So, it may not be totaled. Think positive, unless your looking to get something newer!
  21. I will probably get a sun roof sometime. The Factory Sunroofs are made by Infala, and a local custom shop in town installs Infala sunroofs. I just went on the Dodge website to check out the 2015/16 Crossroads. Anyone purchasing a 2016 Crossroad is getting hosed, IMHO, in comparison to my 2014. As mentioned above, I have a leather shifter, leather steering wheel, stitched leather seats with mesh inserts, and stitched leather door panels. The 2016 Crossroad has cloth seats, the Crossroad Plus has the leather seats with mesh inserts (like mine), but to get the leather door panels you have to buy full leather seats for $995.00. I wonder why Dodge changed this?
