Welcome aboard, from one Crossroad to another.

The Nitro did not have a tranny dipstick either. There was a hole for it, and the dipstick from a 3.7 Dakota would work. There may be a plug for a dipstick. The dealers test the amount of fluid in the transmission electronically now. They think that we are too stupid to do it ourselves.

When I do an alphabetical search, a warning comes on the screen that this function is locked. -
HID projector headlight replacement

They are made by Eagle Eyes, an OEM supplier. The white "L" shaped piece with the oval actually lights up. If you look at the back of the assembly posted on ebay, there are 2 wires going no where. I'm guessing that these are the wires for the white light, and you could hook them up any way you want; with your parking lights or fog lights. I bought a set of Eagle Eyes for my Nitro and they were around $250. They were halo/projectors. They were plug and play except for the Halos. I wired them into the side marker lights so they came on as soon as I turned my lights on. Some guys used them as DRLs, as the Nitro did not have them. But, they had to wire a switch mounted on the dash. If these are similar to the ones I purchased for my Nitro, then they would be plug and play. But, I'm not spending $375.00. -
My Crossroad has them.

Mu butt! Familiar with it!

1. When you hook your devices through wireless Bluetooth, they apparently work, so the Bluetooth Module is good. 2. Both the aux port and the USB port are in the console. The wires may be pinched and/or grounded as they make their way to wherever they are plugged in from he console: radio, or Bluetooth Module. 3. Dealers do not know anything about radios, except to perform updates. They send them out to be repaired, or they just replace them! Is the software version different than when you purchased your car? This will tell you if they performed an update. 4. Go to oemautopartsco, com, and call their 800 number. These guys are awesome and can help you figure out what is wrong. You will need the model number of your radio, and the version number of the software. 5. For what it's worth, Apple just came out with v9.0.2. Uconnect only recognizes v7.1!

Originally, I was thinking freeze plug, but it would not be in the location that you indicated. -

In case you haven't found your owners manual, it the big black thing that blocks the glove box light. I wonder how much they paid the guy who designed this? -

Well, if woman can put on makeup while driving, men can shave, read a book or newspaper, I see no reason why I am not able to change my playlist! -
stereo shuts off in acc. mode ignition?
dhh3 replied to niko's topic in Audio, Infotainment Navigation, MyGig, UConnect, etc.
I would guess that after doing this for a number of times, there would be a point it wouldn't come back on. Whether it would start or not - well, your guess is as good as mine. -
Smelled like leather when I bought it; still smells like leather when I haven't driven it for a few days. Outside seat bolster is beginning to get lines in the surface because it is leather. The mesh inserts are probably some kind of vinyl. My doors also have leather on them.

I carry my Fob / keys in the "ruler" pocket of my carpenter jeans. They went through the washer last Saturday. FOB still works fine; medium load, regular wash, warm wash and rinse. The Downey made it softer! -

When I purchased my Crossroad last summer, the window sticker says Front and Rear LED Lights. I could see the rears, but never did find the fronts until I was made aware of what lights they were indicating! -

You will need to buy a Lockpick, unless someone here knows how to hack the software. I can't change my playlist on my SD card without stopping the car and putting it in Park. -

Welcome to the forum. I bought mine last year, and no issues yet. -
My Journey Crossroad has Leather on the seating surfaces and back rests. The sides and backs are vinyl. All of my Jeeps were this way too.

it says 26.5 avg but I know I am getting much better then that!
dhh3 replied to Billy Billy's topic in Fuel Mileage
I keep my center cluster on MPGs, and reset it every time I fill it. I was on the loop around Columbus, going 73 and it was reading 35.6 or 36.5: i don't remember. This with the V6 and less than 1,000 miles on the odometer! So, I'm a happy camper. I get around 18 in town. I know that very intersection that you are talking about. You have to get off of I70, go a few blocks through town - nice truck stop there - and get back on 70. Very weird. -
alpine audio
dhh3 replied to xcaliber81's topic in Audio, Infotainment Navigation, MyGig, UConnect, etc.
Kicker makes an under seat sub for single cab pick up trucks. It is in a ported box, similar to the Bose Radios and fit with plenty of room under my seat. It has a remote gain dial, and I have to keep it at I mark below 1/2, or it hurts my ears. I had the standard crap system and replaced all of my speakers with 2-way 6x9 Alpines. For the dash, I substituted Alpine Tweeters with built in crossovers. The sub is wired between the radio and the Alpine amp I installed. I have a thread on the forum with all the items I used.
