  1. I installed P255/50R19 Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza Plus soon after I bought mine last June. Excellent wet traction, snow traction; a lot quieter than the factory Khumos. Also, 80,000 mile tread warranty. I believe that this is the widest tire we can mount on our 19" wheels. I can not get my index finger nail between the front lower strut mount and the tire. This is the size tire that Dodge was using last summer for the introduction of the Crossroad.
  2. I would think that if you purchased a warranty at their shop, they would have to honor it, no matter the issue.
  3. I have auto HVAC and mine is a 3-row. Therefore I have rear HVAC and the only way that I know how to adjust it from the front is on the screen. You can manually adjust it from the second row, but I have it locked on the screen so no one can change the way that I have it set. I have never been able to get the screen auto dim to work. With headlights off, I have it set to 10. With headlights on, I have it set to 8. I dim the screen to 8 by rotating the dimmer switch down one click. If you do not have the sensor, I have no idea if any of these functions will work for you.

    Trim issues

Since you have had this done under warranty, you should be covered after your warranty expires because it has been noted in your vehicles history.
  5. If you look at the wires going to the tail lights, they are tiny; not like the thicker wires of days gone by. I do not believe that these wires were made to take the amps necessary for more lights. Just my opinion. The Mopar harness has 4 little boxes on it. I'm not really sure what they are for, but this harness plugs into a harness already installed, which runs from behind the outside edge of the spare up to the front of the vehicle: independent of the tail light wires. I have had the short harness installed by my Dealer's Body Shop because I backed into a truck that was not visible in my mirrors or the camera (I was concentrating on the small Caliber on my side, and the truck was not fully pulled into its parking spot. I did not feel the "hit". I have a hard time turning my body in my back brace. Since I had to have my bumper replaced (no metal damage, thank God), I asked the Body Shop to install the harness before they installed my new bumper. They had no idea what the little boxes were either (maybe small transformers?). For some reason, the Trailer Tow Prep was not listed on my Build Sheet, but it was installed on my DJ. If I didn't have this, I probably would have had to go aftermarket, or have the harness that runs from the front to back installed. I feel using the Factory Harness (2 pcs), independent of the tail light wires, is much safer, but that is my opinion.
  6. Can us Yankees get involved in this?
  7. Good to know. I won't waste anytime time trying to do this. Thank you for the post.
  8. It seems to me if they installed the wrong filter they should be responsible for any damage.
  9. I have been on the forum a little over a year and I do not recall something like this being posted. There could be older posts, but I have as yet, not read them all.
  10. OIC. I took my lights apart last fall for a member who wanted to convert his lights to LEDs. I posted pictures of the housings and lights, and he never answered back. It's been a year so I will check and see if the insides have three pins. I just don't remember. If so, I'll convert them to brakes and keep my amber signal lights. Thanks again!
  11. You have to swap your radio. I have seen them for $1,200, but I'm not sure if that price includes the screen. Save your $ and use your phone. The screen on my iPhone 6 is as big as some of the Garmins.
  12. I would not buy any car parts from Autozone: cheap, Chinese junk. Because of my back, I can no longer work on my car. I just take it to the Dealer. I'm sure they are using Mopar parts! I have never bought anything off of Amazon. I just buy off of ebay; some of the stuff does come from Amazon!
  13. Thank you for posting your fix. A lot of people don't and just leave us hanging.
  14. Just run at the speed of light for the number of minutes that the clock is off. If the DJ can go 118, it should be able to reach the speed of light!

    unusual bass

You were reading my mind! ^^
  16. Definitely wheel sensors when both of those lights are on together.
  17. Welcome to the forum. Still miss my 68 Barracuda Formula S. It was stolen, and wrecked.
  18. The Crossroad was introduced in mid 2014. It has Platinum trim; not chrome. It has distinct front and rear facias (bumpers) and different interior trim. It also has it's own distinct wheels (hyper black). black grill, black headlights, taillights and back and platinum trim below the doors.
  19. FYI. There is a Blacktop headlight assembly, for the left side, on the Forum, in the Parts for Sale section.
  20. I believe that there are air bags in the A pillars. Much to my surprise, I found them in my Nitro!
