  1. Welcome to the forum. If you disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for at least 1/2 hour for the radio, it may reset everything. You will not lose any presets. If this doesn't work, take it in to your Dealer.
  2. Welcome to the forum. The old one looks as though it may have been Copperhead Pearl.
  3. I found a much easier way after a lot of research. I use a PC 1. Copy the entire iTune Library to the Music Folder on the PC. There a a number of step to do this. I found out how to do it by asking on GOOGLE. 2. iTunes is now a folder under Music. 3. Copy this folder to the SD Card. I used a 32 because I have not quite 2,300 songs 4. Open the folder on the SD card. There will be at least 2 folders with just code. Remove these folders 5. Now my SD Card works just kike an iPod. The song, album, artist, year, type of music (rock, etc), play similar all display. All art displays, unless I downloaded the art from iTunes. This art will only play on an Apple product. 6. I can search by song, artist, album. I can play all from each artist. I just use the Shuffle button 7. The only thing I haven't figured out is how to add new music!

    Headrest pulled out

The battery itself is located just in front of the driver's side front wheel. There are remote disconnects on the front of the driver's side wheel well under the hood. Disconnect the negative first, and wait a while for all the diodes to discharge. Then you should be able to hook it back together.
  5. I would try to find one with the bigger front brakes. You can tell because the front caliper is larger than the rear. I feel your pain. When my wife was diagnosed with Cancer, I sold my 2006 Jeep Commander which I had purchased new; not wanting to pay the huge payment anymore: 3 year loan on a $42,000 Jeep! I believe that I would be still driving it to day. Life does throw curves, and you have to roll with the punches.
  6. Welcome to the forum. Sorry, can't help you. I have never ordered a car; either my Dealer has what I want, or finds one. You ordered one just in time. I read that since the SRT is no longer a brand, it now belongs to Dodge and the 300 SRT will be discontinued.
  7. Find a place that can balance the tires on the car. This will give you an easy place to start.
  8. We can only hope that Copperhead Pearl is beneath the tin foil!
  9. Just so you know, the time is not controlled by the radio. It only displays the time. The time is controlled by a module outside of the radio, but I don't remember the name of it.
  10. My heart cries out to you. This is the part of life that really sucks. You need to go to a bereavement support meeting; either in a group setting, or by yourself. Grief is a big ugly beast, and it can take hold of you in many ways. Go long enough to know that you are not going crazy; it is all part of grief. I went long enough to know that I was not crazy. I have become very good friends with the Pastor from Hospice. He told me that he never gets involved with clients, but that Sharon was somehow different. People will start to treat you differently because they do not know what to say. But, you have to talk about it, because the more that you talk about it, the easier it gets. People do not understand this. My problem is that I have not accepted the fact that Sharon is gone and not coming back. Whenever I was on the computer, typing on a forum, she would always sneak up behind me to ask me who my new girlfriend was. Everytime I get on this forum, I feel her watching me type. Or, if I get up, and walk into the Living Room I expect to see her laying on the couch. I have no idea how long this is going to take. If you pm me your email address, I will send you a set of papers that I received from Cancer Services, concerning grief. They are always sitting by the computer, so that I can read them when necessary. Initially, I was lost and in shock, wondering what I was supposed to do now. Then anger. Then feeling all alone, no matter who was in the house. This is all part of grief. I pray that you will get through this. God is with you right now.
  11. Send some my way. You can send it COD.
  12. Hi Dave. Welcome aboard. Dave
  13. The Eagle Eyes projectors I had on my Nitro did have a well defined cutoff; slightly lower on the passenger side. But, there was a blue halo on top of the cutoff.
  14. Dodge refers to them as The Ring of Fire. But, I would be interested as how he made the inside lights flash. The inside lights have 2 wires going to them; the outside lights have 3.
  15. I did have it free for a year, and just paid for a second year. I listened to it all the time until I got my SD card to work. Not sure if I needed to renew it.
  16. OK. I see the Ram and the Viper. Where is my Chromed DJ? If you park it in front of my house I will shurly get kicked out of my neighborhood. Strict rules about chromed cars! BTW, my Sister-in law bought a scratch off ticket last month. It was worth $700,000. After Fed taxes, she got a cool 1/2 million! Indiana does not tax State Lottery winnings.
  17. Get the LEDs to flash one at a time to make a complete circle!
  18. I just checked mine. No clear stickers on my doors; the left side of my gate has a small round hole without a sticker and the right side has a big oval hole. It has a clear sticker with a small hole in it!
  19. Nice job. I have my net attached, but I do not believe that they are designed to do much else than that.
  20. When Uconnect initially came out, the two buttons for it were on the rear view mirror. Some where along the line, the buttons were added to all the radios, whether the Uconnect module was installed or not. Did you just get the DJ? Has Uconnect ever worked for you in the past. That indication on the screen usually means that the Uconnect module was never installed, or that it has gone bad.
  21. Just as an FYI, if any the wheel sensors are not working, Cruise Control will be disabled. Part of the electronics.
  22. If you already have the big screen, you will need to swap out your non-nav radio for a nav radio. To save some $, like I said, you can add the back up camera. I had my Dealer add mine when I purchased it. Then, with these new phones with the big screens, you can use your phone for nav. You will not have to take your eyes off the road to look down at your screen.
  23. Did you paint over the vinyl strips or remove them?
  24. In your original post, you said you installed a new radio. Did you have this problem before changing radios? Where did you tie in for the powered antenna? It just may be that something having to do with the radio was tied into a circuit when the DJ is off. Worth a look.
