I have had my DJ for a little over a year, and just rolled over 7,000 trouble free miles. I have only been back to my Dealer for oil changes, tire rotations, and electronic software updates. My Nitro that I traded for my DJ was the same way. Pretty happy guy.

My insurance buys me a new phone. I have never had to use it. Moving lights do dot reflect in the windshield because I filed a small semi-circle hole at the leading edge of the console lid. Cables comes out and up to my phone. The only reflection in the windshield that I get is the grain surface of the top of the dash. Weird.

Your are joking, right? I saw a 300 last night with those chrome pieces all around the windows - even had chrome vent shades. I guess whatever floats your boat.

I had a 68 Barracuda Formula S, and a 72 Duster, both with the Hypo 340. There is no way in he** that I can get my DJ to sound like either of them, but I can still wish. Then, my 68 Cougar XR7 with the GT package, but that is a story for another day.

Just to let everyone know, Eagle Eyes is from Taiwan, not China. Eagle Eyes is an OEM supplier for many headlights. I noticed that these housings come in black or chrome. If I were to purchase a set of the black ones, what would the interest be in purchasing my black Crossroad headlamps?

There are two friends of my wife that own a sign shop and do vehicle wrapping. They might be able to do it. Thanks for the tip - never thought of this. Hopefully, they have the same color and it is not some proprietary color that only Mopar can use. The girls found an old Dodge van, restored it and wrapped it into the Scooby Doo Van!. It is their delivery vehicle. I actually just went out in the garage and look closely at my DJ. The raised part of the hood and the raised part of the fender are way to close together - would make for a very short pair of stripes!

What size hat do you wear anyway? I never mentioned functions in my phone. If my phone sh**s the bed, I can get a new one, same day with the insurance I have. If the Nav goes bad, you are out days, weeks or months. With the size of of the screens on the new phones, no reason to buy a Garmin or TomTom. (My screen is far from tiny - same size as some of the Garmins at Best Buy). Just use the built in maps. Best Buy sold me a blue and white USB cord. The center blue stripe is actually tiny leds that move in the direction of the current. One little, entertaining cord. What's the big deal? Never had a radio with Nav and never will. My preference. Does this make me a bad person? That bee is pretty well pissed off about now so when I jam it up your butt I pray that he stings the hell out of you. There are more negative comments on this forum than positive reports and this speaks volumes on whether to get a Nav radio or not. I have had the Uncarrier for over 12 years. Unlimited everything, so I do not pay extra for anything. $50 a month and I can get a new phone every 6 months.

There are so many electronics in the DJ - they do not tolerate even slightly low voltage. BAS = Brake Assist System, the car and tracks = traction control. You may have a bad wheel sensor that is draining the battery. Or, with these new batteries, one day they work; next day, nothing. There may be a bad cell in the battery.

I can imagine all the heartache. Sharon woke me up at midnight, one night. I asked her what was wrong. She said that she felt like she was going to die. So, I took her to the emergency room where she was taking her Chemo. She had pneumonia with a temp of 105. The new Hospital was under construction. The cancer patients were still being seen at the old one. We waited about 8 hours for an ambulance. They wouldn't let me driver her there, which is a lot closer to our house. Sharon was in the hospital for about 5 days, and her oncologist told her "no more chemo" and sent her home with Hospice. Hospice was awesome. The hospital absolutely sucked. I'm praying for both of you. Seems like you have it a lot worse than I did. Godspeed.

I had a set of Eagle Eye Halo Projectors on my Nitro. The cut off was weird, with a blue edge at the top of the cut off. I took it to my Dealer to have them properly aimed, but I never got used to them.

If these new 8.4 radios are like are like the old ones, the radio does not control the time. There is an external electronic part that controls the time. There was a TSB on the Nitro. Mine never kept the correct time. The part was replaced and it held time perfectly.

It will cost you nothing to use the phone function. You can always use your phone as a Navigation tool, so again, that will cost you nothing. The non-Nav radio is less expensive. I don't have it, because I don't like the idea of having 2 features in one unit. Personal preference. If you are buying new, it comes with 1 year free subscription to Sirius. If you find that you like this, you would have to renew it at the end of the year.

I was thinking of adding a set of "Hood to Fender" stripes from the Nitro. They were only offered in 2011. I had a set on my Nitro, and was wondering if they could be modified to fit the DJ. They only came in a dark gray metallic that might look good on my Copperhead Pearl.

If your FOB will not lock your doors, it may need a new battery. Think of it this way: the FOB is the transmitter, and there is a receiver in the car. If the signal only works one way, the receiver may be bad. I don't remember the name of it.
