  1. I would think that the positions for jacking would be OK by themselves, since this is the way Dodge designed the DJ. What is your reasoning for doing this?
  2. This is what I want my DJ to sound like. This Alfa is the next size up from the Dart/Cherokee. Since it is RWD, it may become the base for the 300/Charger. http://autoweek.com/article/car-news/listen-alfas-twin-turbo-v6-sing-track?utm_source=DailyDrive20150803&utm_medium=enewsletter&utm_term=headline-center&utm_content=body&utm_campaign=awdailydrive
  3. Try the nitroforumz forum. I traded a Nitro for my DJ, and that is where I learned about the single try switch. There may have been instructions on there.
  4. I also have a Copperhead Pearl Beauty. For the DJ, MGP only makes caliper covers in Black or Red. I'm thinking Red because of the Hyper Black Wheels. I think the Black ones would get lost. They are made in different colors for other cars; just not the DJ. The factory metal looks like silver and do look good with the Hyper Black wheels. Can't make up my mind! Also, they do have a list of special powder coat colors, but I guess that these would cost big $!
  5. Look in the audio section on the forum. I have a bunch of threads concerning how I upgraded my stock audio to something sweet and powerful. It takes up no room - I have a 3 row.
  6. Unless it is chrome plated plastic. Chrome (metal) on the outside, plastic on the inside. These caps I mentioned have worked perfectly on every Mopar I have owned since TPMS was introduced. The original style of TPMS was one piece which included the valve stem. The new versions have a separate valve stem; so much less expensive to fix if you have a valve stem problem.
  7. If the switch is like the one for the Nitro, you only have one chance to install it. If you don't get it right the first time, it becomes worthless.
  8. Welcome to the forum.
  9. I added a Kicker under seat sub enclosure. It is made for single cab pickups. It is 8", and the box is ported like a Bose radio. It has a remote gain. It can hurt my ears! It is amazing what this little box puts out. I have a power set and it fit underneath the seat with room to spare. I have a thread with all the Alpine stuff I added. I started with the 6 speaker standard radio.
  10. ebay has a set of chrome plated plastic caps with the Mopar M on the top. Everywhere I go, people ask me where I got them. The top comes in different colors. I chose black.
  11. Did you keep the seed? Plant it and see what you get!
  12. As you said, the color grew on me fast! Almost immediately. I had to add heated seats and a rear view camera,
  13. I find it hard to believe that anyone can "lock" their Uconnect. I have never heard of this. Anyone else?
  14. My Dealer does a Flush on all components as a matter of habit. I trust them.
  15. I had my resonator removed yesterday. Sounds raspier at idle and more powerful (bigger engine) while driving with the windows closed and radio off. They charged me $162 to do this! They recommend that I change the mufflers to a VX Series (whatever that is) but want $500 to do it!

    HOT Summer

Odd that Ontario is hotter than Indiana! Global Warming or Climate Change? Maybe the world has turned upside down and no one has discovered this yet.
  17. Weird that your Dealer used a high pressure air hose. My Dealer says never use anything high pressure because you run the risk of separating the drain tube from the water channel. Glad it worked for you. Maybe they have a better way of attaching the hoses now.

    new guy here

Welcome to the forum. Great place just to hang out! Enjoy
  19. If you disconnect your main battery, and it still does it, this can be a sign that the TIPM is failing.
  20. Welcome to the forum. The reason that I bought mine was because of the color! I was shopping for a Cherokee Trailhawk.
  21. Make sure that they flush your transmission to get all of the old fluid out of the torque converter. I very rarely hear or feel mine shift. Smoothest auto transmission I have ever owned.
  22. I have not used snow tires for years. When I was working, I lived very close to my job. And, I plan my winter trips around the weather. My Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza Plus tires performed flawlessly in the snow, last winter, so I see no need to change out to winter tires. In California, in the mountains, you need either chains or 4wd. At that time I had a Subaru and the cops let me pass!
  23. There is a little bit of room for a tiny sub on the driver's side. I have no idea what is behind the passenger side grill. It may just be an exit for air.
