Looks good. Did you have to remove your rear bumper to install the harness? According to the directions that came with my Mopar harness, the rear bumper has to removed to access the holes for the Christmas Tree push-type attachers, which keep the harness up away from the exhaust, and run along the entire length harness!

What is wrong with the front and rear panels? Which panels are you referring to?

Welcome to the forum. Did you add the R/T badge to the grill? I was not aware that the Blacktop Option was available on the R/T. BTW, Black + Blue = Awesome.

Run at least 2 bottles of complete fuel system cleaner through it. Get the best one you find. I use Chevron with Tectron or STP. It could just be a clogged injector.

Does your Dealer have a Body Shop? If so, take it to them if they have a good reputation. That would be your best shot at matching.

I just read an article concerning a new Alfa Romeo mid size sedan that will be released shortly. It gives the Alfa Dealers another vehicle to sell, besides the 4C. It has a Ferrari V6 and is RWD. The Maserati is already using 300/Charger parts and a Ferrari V6 and V8. I'm guessing that this RWD Alfa will be the basis for the next DJ and Avenger, if it is resurrected. Maybe the Challenger too. Dodge is supposedly going all RWD, and is the Performance Division. SRT is no longer a stand alone brand. Dodge got it back! The Viper is once again a Dodge Viper, and not an SRT Viper. The 300 SRT has been cancelled, but the GC SRT has not. Confusing. Since the Dart is FWD, I'm wondering how it will fit in. Time will tell. It would be nice to see the Magnum again. The DJ could be a mini Magnum!

Just the thought of the 1/2 shafts loosening makes me cringe. How many times has the Dealer tightened them? The Dealer needs to get Dodge involved to get you a new transaxle. Something is wrong if the bolts keep loosening.

I have had mine for not quite a year. I had a Nitro, and could not step up into it anymore, because of my back. I was intending to get a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, but as soon as I saw the DJ in Copperhead Pearl, I had to have it. The power seat with power lumbar is awesome for my back, having had 3 major back surgeries. With the seat all the way up, I can get in and out with ease. I have been back to my Dealer for oil changes and to install a few Mopar accessories. That's it! 0 problems. I did purchase an extended warranty from Chrysler, 0 deductible, simply for all the electronics. Mine in FWD. This is the first non 4x4 that I have owned in over 20 years. I was a bit concerned about winter. So I swapped out the factory Khumos for a set of Bridgestone Duelers. I had no issues in the snow or ice. Traction control came on only a few times. I was amazed how it drove through unplowed streets. Nothing failed. We did have a few spells of below 0 temps last winter, but nowhere near the winter 2 years ago! I actually bought mine simply for the color. I only drove it around the lot! And, I saved at least $5,000 over the Jeep! Since you are looking at a used one, I would run a car fax on it to see its' history. And, try and get your hand on the maintenance records if you can. This is actually the first time that I ever purchased a car simply because of the color. Sort of a roll of the dice. But, all in all, I rolled sevens! I have never regretted my decision. If the history on what you are looking for comes up clean, go for it.

You could have not said it any better. It's almost like taking the words out of my mouth. A year ago next week, I went to my local Dealer to purchase a Cherokee Trailhawk. However, as soon as I laid eyes on my Copperhead Pearl beauty, I knew that I had to have it. I only drove around the lot - never took it for a test drive! All the salesman had to say was to point out the stitched leather on the doors! Anyhow, I just turned over 6,000 miles, and I have 0 issues to date. It will be getting its second oil change next week. I have done a few modifications to it, but there is not much out there DJ specific. I will run out of time before miles, concerning my warranty! I can't say anymore that you have already said. The auto writers complain that the DJ has not had any major modifications during its lifetime (have they ever looked inside?), but the GM triplets just got their first upgrade in over 7 years - new tail lights and grills, but no one says a word. I still consider it Government Motors and will NEVER consider another GM product because for years people were dying in their vehicles (ignition switches) and swept it under the carpet. GM will not uphold warranties from the "Old GM". People are stuck. Chrysler is honoring pre-bankruptcy warranty work.

I create my Playlists right on the radio. No separate folders. I had never created playlists on my PC and saved them to a folder. So, there were no playlists to copy to the SD card.

From what I understand, my SD card is now functioning as if an iPod or iPhone was connected via the USB port in the console. I can search a song, an artist, or an album. I can use the alpha/numeric soft keys to type a name and search. I can create my own playlists by selecting artists, albums, or songs. The only Art that does not display is Art that came from Apple. Originally, as I was loading my CD's onto my PC, occasionally I would not get the Art. There is a way in iTunes to grab an Album Cover from the same artist and rename it and use it on the CD without art. And, some songs/albums in my iTunes Library I downloaded directly from iTunes (purchased). All of this Art will show on my iPod and my iPhone. When I copied my entire iTunes Library into a folder in Music on my PC, all the Art still displayed. Once I copied this folder onto the SD card, all the Art taken from iTunes will not display. The Art file is property owned by Apple and will only display on Apple products. So, all of my album artwork displays from the SD card, except the Art that i downloaded for a CD or an album/song which I purchased from iTunes. Since uconnect only supports Apple up to iOS7.1, I searched high and low and finally and iPod Touch on ebay with 7.1. Great, I thought! I copied my iTunes Library to it, and it did not work. It only gave me a list of songs that I had no control over. One song, one at a time, down the list. So much for using an iPod. When I had my iTunes Library on my 5s, I could get the music to do what it was supposed to do, and all the art displayed. Without thinking, I downloaded iOS8, and the music went to hell. So much for that. The SD Card is working as it should. I purchased a iPhone 6, 32. No music on my phone. Patiently waiting for Uconnect to update their end, so I can see if I can get my iPod to work.

Good to see it is working. Since I got my SD card to work correctly, I'm thinking about just dumping Sirius. Eventually, they will give me a low ball offer. Time will tell.

Confirms my suspicion that there is not enough room to move any air for the sub. Best Buy tech was wrong when he told me that the sub was a 6x9. Those with the upgrade system must have a different left rear interior panel. I feel for the person sitting in the left side rear seat!

Kicker makes 2 underseat 8" subs for single cab pickups. The speaker is mounted in a ported box, similar to a Bose Radio. I installed one, and am amazed at what it puts out. I have it all documented in the threads that I started concerning my sound upgrade. It is only a 15a draw, so it is wired into the factor 20a circuit for the radio, and comes on with the radio. No need to run cables to the battery.
