Welcome to the forum. Glad that you figured it out yourself. I haven't blown any fuses yet!

It is Sirius. They did the same thing to me. Stay on the phone with them until it works. I can't make it any clearer for you. I am still getting bills on my Nitro that I traded for my DJ a year ago. I had time left on the Nitro and added it to the DJs first free year. I ended up talking to three or four people. Make sure that your cellphone is not paired to the radio when you are doing this.

The Durango is built on the Jeep GC chassis, with a longer wheelbase to allow for third row seating. This process is what Jeep will use to make the new Grand Wagoneer. I can't see FCA offering two vehicles so similar; except that the Grand Wagoneer is planned to compete with Land Rovers, Mercedes GLs, and BMWs. So, the Durango could still be around,in its present size, because it is made to compete with the GM triplets: Acadia, Chevy, and Buick whatevers! These went a whole lot longer without any changes except for their grills and tail lights.

Well, that leaves me out. I wonder if my 2014 has the replacement bearings noted in this TSB? If so, they don't work! LOL

With the amp that you installed in the rear compartment, did you have to run wires from the battery? My my Kicker Sub is 15a and Alpine Brick Amp is 20a. The Sub gets power from the radio's 15a fuse, and the amp is tied into another 20a fuse location. So, at least for me, no wires had to be run from the battery.

2016 Journey - Models and pricing
dhh3 replied to Milous's topic in Buying, Leasing, Ordering & Competing Products
The V6 was an option on mine - $1,700. So, I wonder what $2,000 worth of "stuff" they took out of the base Crossroad, when compared to the Plus? -
On the TSB for the clunk, what years does it cover? I have a plastic trough that collects water, running across my whole garage door. There is a dip, so the water runs in. My DJ has clunked in the front, from day one, every time I back out of my garage! I posted on another thread about the Nitro having slow clock issues. There was a TSB for this. Dealer had to run a test. If the test failed, a part was ordered. I wonder if it is the part that they ordered for you?

It may take another call to Sirius. Have the car parked in an open area, with the radio on. The car does not need to be running. Then call them and ask them to resend the signal. Stay on the phone with them until it works, because Sirius' custom service is pretty bad.

clock speeds up
dhh3 replied to tonyb's topic in Audio, Infotainment Navigation, MyGig, UConnect, etc.
The Nitro had the same issue. I swapped out my radio 3 times, and all the clocks were fast. What controls the time is not in the radio. The radio only displays the time. All I remember about the TSB was for the dealer run a test. If the test failed, some part was exchanged. -
2016 Journey - Models and pricing

My 2014 Crossroad FWD has all the items listed under Crossroad Plus. My window sticker says 2014 Journey Crossroad, and my Base Price was $24,995. I wonder what the extra $2,000 is for? My total price was $29,190. I'm glad that I jumped on the Copperhead Pearl when I had the chance. -
FYI: The pump runs in one direction for the front and the opposite direction for the rear.

You will have to give your year and model as there are differences.

Thanks, guys. My family away from home.

OIC. Component set. The Alpine tweeters are a small cylinder. The tops are screwed onto the bottoms, to allow rotation to direct the sound. The top should be visible, but in my case could not be done, because of the possibility of shattering the speaker grates on the defroster panel. So, the whole assembly is under the panel, but the sound is directed to the rear.

Alpine makes two sets of tweeters. The only difference is the crossovers. One set has a small box; the other is an inline crossover. The tweeters just fit under the defroster panel with the inline crossover. There was no room for the little box crossover. The speakers themselves are identical. There is slightly more room on the passenger side. I replaced my door speakers with 6x9 2 way Alpines. There are plenty of mids coming from these speakers. The tweeters enhance the mids. On some of my old CDs, i'm hearing sounds that I never heard before.

Do both of the nozzles not work? You can try and stick a paper clip into the hole and see if it is clogged.

There is only one gas station in my area that sells it, but it is far east of me. Too far to drive, so I have never used it. It costs less, but one would get less mpgs. Maybe break even?

I was in the Hospital again over the weekend. One of the bolts loosened, allowing the cage with artificial disc to slip out of place. The bones had not started to regenerate into the cage and vertebra, so the Doc was able to reposition the cage back in place. And, he used a longer, thicker bolt. So, I'm starting all over again from March: no driving for two weeks, no lifting, bending, etc. Constant wearing of $1,500 back brace, x-ray in a month after I get the staples removed in 2 weeks. He is going to order me a "bone stimulator". Supposedly, it will send electronic waves to stimulate the bones to grow. Time will tell.

I was on the phone with a Crutchfield tech for about an hour. First, he said it was the shape, and finally concluded that it was the depth. If you do a search on the Crutchfield site for a DJ, only the doors are listed. It may be the ducting to the small grills that blow air to the windows on the front doors. And, the tech who installed my tweeters said that there was barely enough room for them. I have no reason to doubt these guys. Out of curiosity, why would you swap 6x9s for 6.5s in your doors?
