  1. What is the difference in them? The ones on the Crossroad are unique to the Crossroad only.
  2. Forget the USB: use an SD card. Works flawlessly.
  3. I'll be crossing a year next month.
  4. Possible TIPM? Look for corrosion around the terminals. Can you read your new battery's voltage?
  5. My Jeep Commander had stadium seating, just like the DJ. I think anyone hitting the rear would have their brakes on; thus, their front end would be down and end up going under the DJ. My DJ is higer in the back, just like my Jeep Commander. Looks cool, IMHO. But, it could be a safety feature also.
  6. Alabama stole this idea from Indiana. The National Guard is at your North Border as I write this. Indiana will finally have some salt water.
  7. The bear! Ever see "Alaska State Troopers" on NatGeo? There are a lot of moose mishaps in Alaska.
  8. I was parked next to one of the fugly Explorers yesterday. Compared to the DJ, it looked to be big and ungainly, while my DJ appeared to be svelte in comparison. Racetrack tail lamps could be easily added, and a more pronounced and mean looking front end. The body size is perfect, and I like the way that the rear wheels are pushed back, so there is little overhang. The SRT could get a hood scoop for forced air induction. The Explorer interior looked cheap in comparison. The Explorer was longer, higher and wider, and from what I read it gets the same or less mpgs than the old body-on-frame edition. With a turbo, you need to keep the revs high in order to get any power; thus the low mpgs. I think that Ford took the wrong route when they switched to Ecoboost. Back when Ford owned Volvo, the S80 was developed. Ford is using this platform for the Taurus (500), Lincoln MK whatever (sedan), Explorer, Flex and again Lincoln MK (whatever wagon), and the discontinued Mercury Sable (Montego). Makes one wonder!
  9. Picture on the orange sign was a small black bear. I don't think that I would want to hit one.
  10. Yup! That's it. That is exactly what mine does. The Module is 1/2 the size of a Zippo Lighter, with 3 wires. Simple, straight forward installation. And, Dodge was nice enough to leave just enough slack to do the installation. The harness wires come from the left side. That is why I tucked everything down in the middle of the light housing cavity. I didn't want the light's left mounting screw to short anything out. After the video plays, the title of the video is: 3rd brake light strobe, Kahtec delay version Porsche Boxter 986.
  11. That article was from December 16, 2009. Wonder what happened? I was still driving my Jeep Commander in 2009!
  12. I had the Dealer install a rear view camera as part of my purchase. The left rear panel had to come off. I looked in there, where the sub would be, and there is hardly any space at all. I guess that this would explain why the sub is only a 6x9.
  13. The box that I use to type on is all grayed out. When I type, it looks like I'm using an old IBM typewriter. But, when I hit the POST box, it comes out fine. I'm clueless. Something has changed. I have never put any thing on You Tube. http://kahtec.com/ This is where I bought mine. It is the second one down: Delay Version. They were displaying it on a Charger, so I figured that it would work on a DJ. Someone posted that he never found one that would work.
  14. I was shocked when driving in Western Maryland on I68 and saw Bear warning signs!
  15. I happen to love the Copperhead Pearl color; so much so, I bought one! Not to hack your thread, or anything. Someday, I'm going to find you, so I can take a picture of the twins!
  16. Sorry. No can do. The box that I post in is all grayed out.
  17. FYI - to reset the radio, you have to disconnect the negative terminal and wait at least 1/2 hour.

    A Tribute to my Wife

The silence around here is deafening.
  19. I have to renew every year in Indiana - 1 year plates. The month is determined by the first 2 letters of your last name. For me, Ha = 5/21
  20. Limp mode, or plugged catalytic converter. Have someone feel what is coming out of the exhaust pipe when you rev it.
  21. In Indiana, your tags are based on the value of your vehicle. The State sets the value. So, each year, the costs go down. And, the Lottery Money pays half. So if it weren't for the Lottery, I would have paid $632 for my tiny little sticker! Each State sets their own rules. When I was going to College in Massachusetts, your plates were $77 per $1,000 your car was valued at. But, I think that they were 2 year plates.
