Turn your lights off. Touch the brightness with lights on soft key. Set a number. I have mine on 7. Turn your lights on. The dimmer switch by the light switch has 3 hard positions: all the way - interior lights on, down one detent - daylight use. down one more detent and the screen will go to the number that you set it on. This is the only way that I can figure out how to do it. There may be a way for this to be automatic, but I have never been able to figure it out. At night, I turn on my lights; Screen is still bright. Rotate the dimmer switch down one detent, and the screen goes to 7, which I set it to do.

This is a good idea too. The power wire, I believe, is not in the gray connector, but is in the small connector; that is, if these new radios connect like the MyGigs. MyGigs had 3 connectors: big white - video, big gray - speakers, small one in the center, if I am remembering correctly, power and also power for the antenna.

Welcome to the forum. Maybe you could cut the covers to the size of the seat surface and use velcro to hold them on.
-
If you find one you like and it does not have heated seats, be aware that heated seats can no longer be added as a Mopar accessory. Heated seats are now part of the Uconnect system! WHY? If it ain't broke, why fix it?

You could use Acetone, but make sure you are outside. You will get high as a kite from the fumes: you will completely forget what you are even doing!

Good luck. If the new radios are like the old ones, the power will be in the smaller connector. I see the big gray connector in one of your photos. That is for the speakers. Also, the antenna on the DJ is powered. You have to make sure that this is hooked up too. Otherwise, your reception will be lousy

Maybe each of you that has a leak could indicate where the leak started. Maybe they are all in the same place. That would indicate a bad design from the beginning. However, if they are all leaking in a different area, that might add they used the wrong material to make it. Either way, if this becomes a common issue. then Dodge should make a TSB/recall available. Maybe the cars with leaks were all made around the same time; the leak may be isolated to a specific time period.

KEY FOB SENSOR
dhh3 replied to Tito Mon's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Key Fobs, Locks & Remote Start
How do you have it programmed? Mine is programmed so it will unlock only the driver's door with the first push. The second push unlocks the rest of the doors and the hatch. -
I'm watching this closely, as I find it fascinating. There was a guy on the Nitro Forum, over in England, using raspberry pi doing the same sort of thing, because he could not get any Uconnect module to work in his vehicle. He was slowly making progress when I left the forum to hang out over here.

Very loud
dhh3 replied to Nikki nikki's topic in Audio, Infotainment Navigation, MyGig, UConnect, etc.
Welcome to the forum. Before you leave the car, turn the volume down and turn off the radio. When I'm driving around, I gradually turn it up to 20. which sounds normal. Next day, when I turn the car on, it is way too loud, but still on 20, and I start this little game all over again. -

Because the LockPick is designed to work with all Mopar radios, there are dip switch settings for High Speed or Low Speed CanBus applications. I have no idea what the DJ uses. But, maybe this is not the case anymore. -
I think that you have to fill the filter cover with new oil, and then drop in the filter. This pre-oils the filter paper!

TSB: Idler Pulley Noise 2011-2014 3.6L
dhh3 replied to Milous's topic in Recalls & Technical Service Bulletins
I printed out the TSB. I'll take it in to my dealer. I have not started mine for over a week. I was in the Hospital, and can not drive for another 5 days. So, I went out and started it. and it makes a sound like the power steering pump is going bad! It is definitely a rotational noise. -
Thanks for the heads up.

Do you know the part that they are actually replacing? Is it the metal box that looks like a MyGig without a screen? I'm guessing that this is the actual radio. Do they replace the screen, also? Just curious for future reference. -

Alternator/Electrical Problem
dhh3 replied to Brandon Therens's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
Do one thing at a time. The more things you initially change, the more you have to deduce as to what is wrong. Jump your car with the other car. No luck, just switch batteries. if you do one thing at a time, you can eliminate a cause and eliminat the guessig game.- 12 replies

Not the city, but the area. If you look close enough at the mountains. you can see the water line with how high the Lake once was.

Since the Dealer does my oil changes and tire rotations as part of my extended warranty, I'll be stuck with Mopar Filters!

Welcome to the forum. Is it still playing music? You may be able to reset it by disconnecting the negative terminal on your battery for at least 1/2 hour. -
