I think that there are air bags behind there, if you are referring to the A pillar as a sail panel. Having the sound from the tweeters directed towards me, I can definitely hear them. Before, I would have to move my head closer to the windshield to even hear the dash speakers. Like I have said a few times before, this should be it, as far as sound goes!

Sorry. Installation date is Thursday, April 16. I'm going into the hospital Thursday for my 2nd Back bone graft fusion. No driving for 2 weeks! This will be my fourth fusion - 2 in my neck. In the picture, you can see the bolts and rods. After the ruptured disc is removed, and the bone graft is installed between the vertebra, two bolts will be installed in to the adjacent vertebra, the short rods will be removed and two longer rods installed to tie them all together. You hit the nail right on the head. I'd take a MyGig over my 8.4" POS anyday. Phone always worked, no matter what. Load your music onto the 30 gig HD, and away you go - no issues. It is too bad I can't install my RBZ, v50 into my DJ. I'm looking into sawing a MyGig sized hole in the middle of my screen and and mounting it there! Totally disappointed when I realized Dodge dropped the HD. Disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes or more would reset the MyGigs. One more reason not to like the 8.4. Just bring it back. An SD card is no match for a HD. If the SD is not formatted correctly or the files aren't right, it won't work right. It took me a while to figure it out. I'm 99% there. But one should not have to do this. The idiot engineers should have had this all figured out before they put it out in the market. Every CD that I played displayed Album Artwork on the MyGig. Some of my CD'd are originals from the 70's and 80's. No artwork displays on the 8.4! WTF were they thinking? Calling Uconnect is a waste of time. They need to fix this ASAP

I have never had Nav in my radio for the simple fact if one goes out, you have a very expensive replacement. There are a lot of non-Nave radios out there (people seem to want Nav in their radio) for a lot less $ than the combined unit.

The dual microphones are in the rear view mirror. Make sure all of the wires on the back of the mirror are fully plugged in and seated. Also. check for any bent pins.

To perform a factory reset, disconnect the negative terminal on your battery for at least 1/2 hour for radio issues. You will not lose any of your presets. Uconnect only supports iOS up to 7.1 . I just purchased an iPhone 6 with iOS 8.2, and it took numerous tries (about 15 minutes or so) to pair, but I finally got it to work. The phone works flawlessly with Uconect, but music is AFU. Uconnect is working on a fix. If the reset does not work, you may need to get a new Uconnect module. It is separate from the radio.

I did not say anything about the phone being used for a backup camera. I said that I was using my phone as a Nav unit. My backup camera works fine as long as I keep the lens clean. You can have Nav in the factory radio, but not necessarily a camera. I was trying to save him some $. Buy the camera, not the Nav radio.

Depending on how many tires were hydroplaning, the wheel sensors picked up different rotational speeds of the tires and shut it off. It is pretty amazing how quickly this happens. My brain should work as good! LOL

Exactly what I do. When the phone is hooked via Bluetooth, it even dims the audio when it fires out commands to turn, etc. I got a nice Insignia mount that clip to the center vents, and the USB charges the phone while using it for NAV. The phone will stay on for the entire trip.
