  1. Try calling your Dealer and give them your VIN number. They should be able to give you the code. I looked at my stickers on the door jam, but didn't see anything.
  2. Mystery solved. Thank you. Another question. The DRLs stay on when I turn on the parking lights, but will go off when I turn on the headlights. Is the way they are designed to work? Not a problem; just curious.
  3. Well, at least you can see when you back up. Try disconnecting the negative terminal on your battery to perform a system reset. Are you getting any codes? You might want to try and retrieve any stored codes before you erase them, by disconnecting the battery.
  4. Feel free at anytime to come on down and do this for me. I am hapless now. I have 2 bone graft fusions at C4 and C5, C5 and C6, with a metal plate and 6 screws. Not quite 2 years ago I had another bone graft fusion at L4 and L5, with 4 bolts and 2 rods. For a year they have been telling me that the pain I am enduring is from the bolts: "live with it!" Finally convinced them for a cat scan, MRI and bone density X-ray. The disc at L5 and S1 is ruptured. Not sure where we are going with this next. I was not really in the market for a new car, but I found it tougher and tougher to climb up into the Nitro. Lumbar and heat = happy back! I do what I can, when I can. It pisses me off that I have to pay people to do all the stuff that I used to do for myself; but I am not about to remove that left third row seat! Ha
  5. I, dhh3, a humble member, am proud to announce that I now have Factory DRLs on my 2014 Dodge Journey. Now, for the weird part. Ever since last June, I wanted DRLs but was told by both The Forum and my Dealer that Chrysler removed the LMK code on the Options side of the build code in 2014. Therefore, I could not have them. Then, mysteriously, the LMK code was added back in, according to the Forum; so anyone with a 2014 can now have them added. I called my Dealer and they agreed. Fine. Now for the really weird stuff! On my W/O, it states: The SLS code is present and DRLs are turned on in the radio, but Customer states they do not work. Vehicle did not come from Factory with DRLs. Checked and found Chrysler added Sales Code SLS. Vehicle needs to be reconfigured. Reconfigured vehicle and DRLs working at this time. So, is it LMK or SLS? In either case, it doesn't bother me because mine finally work. But, it may affect someone else.
  6. I use Chrome. I did get a message asking me if I wanted to translate the page. I clicked on No, because I have no idea where this page originates.
  7. The SD card I used is 32. Before the iOS8 fiasco, my iPhone 5s is a 64. Not sure if this helps.
  8. I will be installed on Wednesday. The list price is $299. There are some used ones on ebay for less. 1/2 Price Audio listed it on their website: $299 or make offer. So I offered $250, and it was accepted. + Free Shipping. I don't expect to crack my neighbor's windows, but I do expect decent bass from a small box. With the Apines, I can turn the volume all the way up with no clipping or distortion. I will know Wednesday afternoon. Having 3 rows of seats leaves me with few options. As I posted somewhere last summer, my Dealer installed my rear view camera as part of my sales agreement. I walked back to check on their progress. They had the left third row seat out along with the left rear interior panel. I believe that the factory sub is supposed to reside behind this panel, but there did not seem to be much room for anything back there. Maybe this is why I have read posts here on the forum that the upgrade sound system does not sound good.
  9. Welcome to the forum. I have never seen a DJ with two-tone seats.
  10. Sorry: Pictures, or it didn't happen. The Tech @ Best Buy says he installs a lot of these in regular cab pickups. It has a 15A fuse so he can tie it into the 20A front Power Outlet sitting at the bottom of the bin under the Heater Knobs. I never use it because very un-handy to use. Now I have a use for it! It doesn't even have to go directly to the battery. Awesome. I have not decided where to install the remote.
  11. Well, I finally solved the mystery of getting my SD card to display the Artwork. Initially, I followed all the iTune directions on how to get everything to work on the SD card. You can't just copy your iTunes library to the card, You first have to go through a series of steps the get the itunes library in a folder in Music. Then, you copy this folder to the card. It took forever to copy. After patiently waiting, i put the SD card into the slot. Radio displayed "No Readable Files". Damn! So, I removed the card and put it back into my computer. There were a bunch of files that were just code. Out of curiosity, I deleted them. I put the card back into the slot, an lo and behold, there was a list of all my songs in alphabetical order, by album; all 2,300 or so. No folders, just songs in alphabetical order of the albums. So, I listened to one song and had the default music note. Well, this is better than nothing. Then, 1/2 way through the song, the album artwork appeared! The radio must have been reading the files in the background while the song was playing. So I skipped to the next album: Artwork!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY. I did not have to do any of the above mentioned steps to get the artwork to display. It displays and I am happy. I wish that I had a little more control, but I will play with it for a while and see what I can come up with. Now, my next challenge, "should I choose to do it!", will be: how to add new music.
  12. My Crossroad did not come with the upgrade sound system. I replaced the 4 door speakers with 6x9 Alpines. These speakers changed the sound 100%. But I wanted a little more punch to the bass. This Kicker unit is 14" long and only 3" high. It will fit under either front seat (driver's seat is powered). It has a remote to increase/decrease the gain, to adjust for the bass in any given song. It will be installed Wednesday. I'll let you know how it sounds.
  13. Never assume anything. How long did they have your car? Did the tell you exactly what they did to inform you that you needed a new transmission? Any other Transmission shops in your area? I'd get a second opinion. The reason I do not trust AAMCO is that they will usually tell a customer that they need a new transmission, when i fact, they do not. I have seen this over and over again. Being in the Military, I have traveled the world. And it was the same in every State where I was stationed.
  14. I find it odd that someone would get rid of a 2014 with only 7,000 miles on it. Is there anything in the car to indicate who the previous owner was? If so, I'd give him/her a call. I guess I should of asked this in my initial post? Oh well, go out and enjoy the hell out of it now.
  15. How do they know? I have never trusted AAMCO.
  16. Welcome to the forum. I would love to have the diesel.

    Where is the ending "Ha"?
  18. Thumbnail worked for me. Probably because I use Chrome!
  19. Well, when one goes by, you definitely know it's a Dodge! A lot of these new lights are hollow tubes with a bulb at least on end. You have to look closely that they arn not individual LEDs.
  20. Triple post? Well, with some magic it is down to a double post!
