I was thinking of using the Uconnect App to start my vehicle, noticed our firmware does not allow the use of the app. I thought it was available on the 2017 model

Tried to get mine done, Computers were down when I got there. Wait till another day.

Well I finally got my journey complete with nice rims. My 2014 was very nice but never had nice rims, everything else but. The 2017 comes with a bit wider tire 225, I noticed it rides way smoother, quieter, handles about the same. So far the 2014 to the 2017 it is a plus for me. I am very happy with the 2017 so far. I bought some Nano wax from nanoprotex did the from bumper and rear bumper with it a noticeable difference than wax, allot slipper( repels water great and easy for bug removal on the front) , shiner than the other wax I put on the vehicle. Yes I used expensive wax on the vehicle as well. I did not know what to expect from the new nano stuff so only used on bumpers this time. They also have a leather conditioner works great. So she is shined up undercoated, hitch and ready to go, the front seats seem more comfortable as well. ++++

Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector is the one I used, I just taped into a live wire in the back from the wiring harness that is supplied. Most of the journeys come with a connector for a wiring harness some just have to be activated via software, then you buy the harness from Dodge for plug and play type of thing. Or buy the third party harness like I did, takes a little work but it is something that can be done.

Wow that is nasty, in Saskatchewan if it is wildlife it is covered no deductible. I know that does not help you but I still feel your pain, I am anal about my vehicle as well.

Well there was a two part upgrade, and i asumed the second was the maps

Tried the update, loaded to new version, but still cannot unlock maps, radio works fine and all other functions
