  1. I recall removing the plastic kick panel but not sure about the carpeting.
  2. I think my 09 fuse box on the inside is on the passenger side, below the glovebox, but on the side . So if you are looking from the seat, under the glovebox, on the right wall in front of the door. I’ll check when the car is here and post if I’m wrong.
  3. My 09 gets anywhere from 12mpg to 23mpg. I live in Chicago so it’s all stop and a little go traffic. Winter always gets lower mpg. Nothing on the roof or extra weight in the car. On the highway I’ll get 23 mpg doing 75 mph. Think it’s just the constant traffic that kills me. Has about 88k miles on it. Plugs have been changed, throttle body cleaned, K&N air filter (cleaned). It does get up and go when you hit it though! I didn’t buy it for its mpg..
  4. So you would have to go aftermarket, then you lose some controls, like climate and Uconnect....
  5. I’m not sure DJ are compatible with car play, but mine is an 09 so I wouldn’t know. Good luck!
  6. This has been covered multiple times in the forum. Try searching the forum for radio upgrade, or 4.2 to 8.4 upgrade. Not really hard, just $$$$$$$$$$$$
  7. You might be correct on the timing chain. I was thinking the 3.5 like I have. It’s a belt and calls for replacement at 100k miles. I changed my serpentine belt at about 75k miles, but did not change the tensioner with no bad results.
  8. As long as you are in there change the timing belt [if you have the 6]. It’s due at 100k miles and your right there anyway.
  9. Did you do the brakes yourself? Make sure they are seated properly. Clean both sides of the rotors with break cleaner. Make sure the caliper is sliding. Sounds like something got trapped between the rotor and pad.
  10. Rotors could be warped. My first guess was tire balance. I also have the 19’s and always have to return for a second balance because they screw up the first time and I get a vibration.
  11. Same thing happened to my Chrysler Sebring. Got REALLY noisy after spraying beltdressing. Hit the belts with some silicone spray and noise is gone. No slippage noted, everything running great. These belts were less then 6 months old, tensioner replaced when the noise started. That was in March of this year, still no noise..
  12. Check the wire loom in the rubber boot at the rear hatch. Common problems with wires breaking
  13. Are you over 36k? If not it should by under your 3/36 warranty
  14. Just feel along the bottom of the dash around the steering column, you’ll feel it
  15. Go to Mopar.com, make an account and put in your vin. You’ll be able to see exactly what’s on your car among other things.
  16. If all that broke was the plastic part I think you’d be ok. From the picture it looks like it’s there to protect the guts. Keep watch and see if you get any weird issues or any warning lights and go from there. Totally my 2 cents with no actual experience with this.
  17. I think he is referring to both the car and dealer...
  18. Junk yard or dealer. You won’t find it aftermarket.
  19. Try disconnecting the battery for a hour. Tends to clear up a lot of issues with the DJ
  20. Comes here, bitches, doesn’t like the fact that it’s HIS fault the car doesn’t have what he wants, so goes and pouts because we didn’t agree with him. Boo friggen hoo... another one post wonder.....
  21. IDK, when the gauge reads between 1/4 & 1/3 I go fill it up, then it reads full. I then drive till it gets back to 1/4 & 1/3 and fill up again. I never run out of gas that way. I really don’t care how much I put in. Just me.....
  22. Blend door motor would be my guess. just had a wild thought, have you changed the cabin filter? Might be plugged....
  23. My understanding is no. Did the dealer tell you the vehicle was equipped with those items or did you just think it was? If the dealer told you it was you may have a leg to stand on for a return...
  24. Plugs the the 4cylinder are good for 30k (if I recall correctly) and need to be copper (I think anyway). I have a V6 that’s why I’m not positive. Putting “upgraded” plugs in does not work well with these engines. much discussion on the forum. Search spark plug for 4cylinder or perhaps someone else will chime in.....
