My 09 blows great heat front and rear, but you do have to be moving to get decent heat from the rear vents, idle won’t do it. did you bleed the system when you were done?

I used 235/55/19 with no issue. Speedo is a little off (minus 1-2 mph as compared to my gps).

Try superbrightleds.com. They have higher quality bulbs -
Thats what I was thinking. Sorry, thought it was copper, I guess not!

Well, I had mine done ( an 09 R/T) at the dealer under my extended warranty, so cant tell you how to get it off. You may have enough rubber hose to just cut it out, but I really dont know. As far as I know all the three zone systems have that part. They didn’t figure anything out in 09, was the first model year for the car (although they were available the second half of 08. Got mine in July of 08). I do recall this being talked about and I recall someone used a copper plumbing Y pipe from the hardware store ( Im pretty sure). Try searching the forum for heater Y pipe, or maybe some else knows more. Let us know!

Front End "Clunk" while Braking Over Bumps
OhareFred replied to JRodMTB's topic in Brake, Chassis & Suspension
Because that happens every day. Like returning pants that don’t fit. Just show them your receipt and tell them you want to return it. Im sure it wont be an issue..... -
Can you give us some more information, like do you have 3 zone heat and AC.? Does the car idle ok and only steams when you accelerate? Did you check your oil to see if there is any water in it? if you can answer these we may have a better idea. It could be a blown head gasket, it could be blown heater hoses to the rear unit, or a few other things. Sorry to say but when I had the rear heater hoses replaced it was almost $500.

Loud clunk from the rear now lurches and grinds.

Well, the AWD system can be complex so going to the dealer is the correct step. Why do you not trust the local dealer? Bad experience? If not, you may be bypassing a great dealership because they are a small outfit. Give them the opportunity to either earn your trust or your disgust. -
I am sick of people who drive under the speed limit, or so far over they both are reckless. People need to pay attention and drive the friggen car! Put the phone away mr or mrs important.......

Whats the VAT? Do you mean things like taxes and dealer fees? Not being a smart ass, never heard of that and am curoius.

Please explain to me how I put the car down? I have the same year. All I said was the truth.

This has been covered multiple times in the forum.. Try doing a search, there were several writeups on how to do it and what goes where.

Well, you bought a 8-9 year old car ( I got my 09 in July of 08) with 140k on it. What maintenance records did you see? Was the proper work done or was it driven into the ground? When you buy a used car, you roll the dice. I understand not everyone can afford a new car, and there is nothing wrong with buying used, BUT you have to do your homework. To buy a used car with high miles and not expect issues is just being naive. That being said, exactly what problems are you having??

Check the wire loom at the top of the door. Known to have issues.

I pay about $35 for 6 qrts Mobil 1 at Costco, then take it to a local place (they dont offer Mobil 1) and they change the oil add the filter for $20. Total cost is about $55 and I dont get dirty.

Backup Camera at Night
OhareFred replied to GLobo's topic in Audio, Infotainment Navigation, MyGig, UConnect, etc.
My camera is crystal clear both day and night. Could be your camera or a wiring issue. -
Can you be a little more specific? What is the issue?

OVERHEAD dvd
OhareFred replied to Bryman31's topic in Audio, Infotainment Navigation, MyGig, UConnect, etc.
Search the forum, this has been done in the past, but be prepared, its $$$$$. You need to pull the entire roof, add supports, new rear AC contorls, etc. not a 10 min job, BUT it can b done. -
Saw thats parts diagram at the dealer

Be sure to use anti-seeze on the threads of the new sensor, but dony get any on the sensor itself.
