Ahhhh..............I missed the part where the dealer didn't want to pay for labour. The Bluetooth module has a Mini-USB connection that goes in the back of the 8.4 unit, it will work with a external mic on the dash. They know it will work they just don't wan to pay for the install

My Jourbey have a 8.4N screen, no phone button in the steering wheel, anyone have tried to install a Bluetooth command? The part that might be available is 82213152... This sounds like a question to me................

For the bluetooth to work you need the main module and also the rear view mirror with the built in microphone they also have a kit with the external mic mounted on the dash.

You can do it your self but if you're still under warranty is better to have the dealer do it $450 parts and labour included, otherwise it will take you about 2 hours and you still need to take the car to the dealer to flash the sales code for the rear cam.

it will take you 20 minutes to do the swap all you have to watch for is the MFG year of the unit you're buying, if it's a 2011 model no unlock code is needed, 2012 to 2014 you need to know the VIN of the car it came from and serial number of the unit to get the unlock code. Also if you already have SIRIUS no need for a GPS antenna, if your current unit doesn't have SIRIUS you need to purchase the GPS antenna. Look for the replacement unit at scrap yards, prices go from $400 to $800 or $1000+ on Ebay. I did this on my 2013 SXT and it was worth every penny!!!

You need the 8.4 radio unit with or without navigation is up to you, but for the nav to work you need to have SIRIUS already installed on your 4.3 unit otherwise you need to purchase an additional antenna for the GPS signal to work, also you need the touch screen, the dash bezel should be OK. is all plug and play if you purchase a 2011 unit you don't need an unlock code if you purchase a 2012 or 2013 unit you need to know the VIN number of the donor car.
