K check it out let me know what you think of my old set up -
Anyone look into putting a chip in? I have the 3.6l and its OK. Could be better on fuel, I wanted using the sport shifting mode today and gained an extra 10mpg!!! But I am wanting a chip for better fuel and maybe extra HP. Don't really care for the HP part, I've seen a ts performance chip for the trucks and that's wild! Anyone see one for the DJ???!!!

They have a video for permaseal? I could find videos for that. I found videos of people using a cutting iron but I really don't want to do that -
baking headlights

Not looking to spend more than I have to. I'll just put them in the over. Put my elantra lights in a few times without problems. But since these are permaseal I'll have to bake a few times I guess -

Im pretty up to date on it I had a retro I did myself on my elantra last winter. Had amber xb halo with amber led strip. Looked wild. Probably going to do the same set up with this one. Looked OEM and not over kill. I think the 6000k LEDs are over done and sometimes its just to much. Amber is nice, but TRS just came out with rgb halo in the works. They say they will be selling them on November so I might grab those not 100%, they owe me a set cause my last xb halos over a few weeks I noticed about 12 LEDs burnt out on the left and right sides. I tried to upload a pick of my old set up big its says its to big -

That's the plan Stan. That's the only time I put in orders with TRS -
K so I have all my parts needed to do my retrofit tempted to use my stock headlights I have butyl glue from my previous retrofit that I orders from TRS so no worries about condensation after the fact. Really don't want to spend more money on these lights. I already have 20 watt Cree projector led reverse 50 watts high beam LEDs just for looks cause with the projector I'll have the highbeam. I have the switchback led for turn signal and rear led turn signal are on the way in the mail. Basically spent 200 just on those lights so I don't want to sink another 2-300 on aftermarket just to open up total cost if I do that would be under 700. But has anyone baked their OEM headlight? I herd people say don't waste time on these cause they are permaseal and I'll never get them off and others I've herd of doing the oven deal. Anyone does this to their OEM lights???!!!

Cody Chornobey Powley replied to Cody Chornobey Powley's topic in Accessories, Modifications
My journey is the black top so it comes with 19 inch black rims and black headlights. Yea I made this sticker myself. There is a local guy in my city and I asked him to make it for m . 30$ for the side the front and back. Actually he did the letters I free handed the red strips -

I would probably just use a heat gun I don't want to chance them getting warped. But at least if I could use the gun I'd take my time and not ruin anything. I would love to do the d2sbut I'm not making the holder any bigger than it is. I won't have this vehicle forever. Other than that if I were to keep it I'd get the square projector cause it would look perfect was also contemplating using and cutting iron
