if you put your finger up side it youll feel two bolts, unscrew those and it will release the bumper if you undo both sides and pull. pretty sure there isnt supposed to be any kind of gasket over it..and headlight assembly is fine with weather and what not, guess it cant hurt to use the good old duct tape if you wish

How to remove Front Lower Grille
Cody Chornobey Powley replied to mgdj06's topic in Accessories, Modifications
Tape two inches away from the parts your painting and make it heavy coats. Peeling plasti dip when you have lots of coats is easier instead of trying to run out spots that have dip on them. I noticed on my journey that the gloss black bottom bumper is only a cover and not the actual facia itself. -

Have the les tail lights is a plus when tinting them. I got my wife to drive down the road and still from two blocks away can see the break lights perfectly. Last night was at a meet and a cop showed up and said he liked how the journey looks for being a manvan lol. He said I shouldn't have issues. I tested them I front of him just to be sure. Time will tell I guess haha -

Not to shabby. But don't understand why you would want to put stuff on your headlight lense -

In the middle of doing the last break light. Wet sanded with 2000 and used mothers ultimate compound to bring the clear coat back to life. Finished it off with some carnauba wax for extra protection and shine. -
I had plasti dip on it before and the Matt finish I didn't like. Used krylon red paint. Used what was left over from doing my interior

Tinted the tail lights going on black. Was at a meet spot a bunch of us guys go to and had a cop pull up and said my journey looked great. Best looking one in town he said, also mentioned he liked it blacked out at the back. I asked him if they were fine and he said yes there's no problem with them haha. Everyone loves the manvan

Did my tails today. In person you can still see some red reflector which is what I wanted. But it's still dark and looks good. Mid day lights are still noticeable and able to see perfectly fine. If anything I might lighten up the part where the leds are and leave the rest dark.
