Was going to offer advice sooner...but I thought you were dead.?

If you are in the rust belt, can’t hurt cleaning up the main grounds under hood and around main fuse box.

I even grind off the paint under main grounds and use light coat of dielectric grease.

I am going to be taking it into the Dealership again. How do I contact somebody for help? I have shown them video of this happening and now it is happening so frequently it is ridiculous. I complained about this back in 2020 and I am still having issues as of today.

On our '11 DJ, the rear sync. started doing as posted on the infotainment screen but did not have any of the other fan or temp symptoms.

   I removed the center dash panel (with the infotainment screen) to get to the HVAC control module that sits right behind the screen. I unplugged the single multi pin modular connector and applied DIELECTRIC grease to the harness pins in the connector and reassembled all, Been a week now and NO further problems...all working as it should.

At Dealership now again. Would love to get this resolved! Tried uploading video of it happening but file to large.  Any way Dodge can reach out or give phone number to call?

I have a 2017 journey been having this issue since I got it 4/2017 though it was a "new" thing. Well solved the issue today. Turned climate control off on the screen not by the button. I turned it off this morning and it had not come back on ??but I can turn it on with the button on the console.

Some of your issues sound similar to mine;

2017 Dodge Journey Crossroads

I’ve only owned it a little over a year and have had this problem since about 2 months in, but it was a frequent issue and now is becoming quite the irritation and leaving my kids sweltering in the rear.

I posted my vid to YouTube, it was too big to post here, see below. What happens is I notice the rear A/C turning on and off, I select climate on the main panel, rear in the upper right corner. The rear controls are set to front control, from there it is a challenge to get the screen to stay on fro t operation of the rear controls, it flicks on and off by itself. For the few seconds where I can gain control, I attempt to change the flow, unsecessfully, to forward from forward/floor, it goes back of its own accord. I try to change the temperature from 60 to low, again the controls of their own accord return to 60. None of the others screens or operations act like this on the main control screen. It feels a bit like the rear A/C & Heat are possessed, turning on and off at will in a 60 second period about 6 times on its own, if I am working with it to try to do my will nearly 30 in that same amount of time.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Anyone ever figure this out? My rear AC keeps switching to floor only, and full fan.  If I change them, they change right back.  I have to hit the lock button immediately or it switches right back.  It’s so annoying.

For me the trick was turning off all heating or air before turning off the car. Not sure why but if i keft it on when car was shut off it would have a mind of it's own.

But to be fair mine has a slight vibration coming from the rear that may have damaged something 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
