Melissa Stalnaker
I have a 2017 Dodge Journey. I cannot get my rear passenger seat to go down. The latch for the seat, where you set your butt on, it's latched closed and I cannot get it open so it will go down. I have tried all of the levers, put the seat in every position and it's just stuck. Anyone else have this issue? Does anyone know how to fix it? Bryman31
this happened to me once only on my car door. my daughter used her finger to close the latch when the door was wide open. i had to use a screwdriver to slide into the clamp that was closed to simulate the door being in it. then somehow fiddeling with handles and stuff i got it opened. u just gotta get something in there to release the closed clamp

Steven Harshbarger
Yeah, to me, it looks like the clasp is closed, so pulling the lever and using a screw driver to open it back up should do the trick. jkeaton
Armando G
Where you able to fix the latch Melissa? I was able to click it back with a screwdriver when I accidentally pushed it while cleaning it.
