jmurphy1107
My 2011 Journey had a low brake pedal, like it would stop but the pedal could be pushed all the way to the floor. The master cylinder was changed which fixed the soft pedal, but now when the car is rolling and the brakes are pushed the ABS kicks in. So now every time the pedal is pressed with the vehicle moving the abs kicks in even when going less than 5 miles per hour. Is this something that can be fixed by me or is it a dealership fix? Thank you for your time.
2late4u
so i assume the pads are in great shape and not wore down, make sure all your wire connections at each wheel are connected, other then that....
jmurphy1107
Brakes and rotors are 3 days old. This problem started when I picked up the vehicle. It stops but abs kicks in every time brakes are pushed. Is there something that must be reset since the brakes were bleed? bfurth
They screwed up when they bled the brakes. My first guess would be they need to bleed the ABS module. Bleed brakes Computer involved procedure for ABS bleed Bleed brakes again And the shop you took it to is on the hook for all of it. They should have done that when they had that much of your brake system disassembled. larryl, 2late4u, OhareFred and 1 other 1
