LesaW
My journey is only 5 months old boight brand new. I haven't driven it in a few days and my son used it to jump start his car. Now my check engine light is on. Everything seems to work okay but confused to why it's on. Hoping nothing is wrong.
Armando G
You can try resetting the Check Engine light and see if it comes back on. Or, just take it to the Dealership and let them connect it to the reader and tell you if there is anything wrong. Hopefully he didn't touch something with the cable after disconnecting from your battery, and hopefully he ground it to the correct port. Simple jump should not do anything. 2late4u
OhareFred
If the engine light is on, there is a code stored. You need a code reader to reset it so take it in. Doubt the jump has anything to do with it. If something was hooked up wrong the battery light would be on or the car wouldn’t start..... jkeaton
Get the code read. It’s telling you what’s wrong. We can’t. 2late4u

Same here. I will use my old truck, but not the DJ. You are absolutely correct. Too many computer modules that can be easily damaged by spikes.
