mechanical-idiot
Three problems 2012 Journey: - Air in the rear second row behind the driver is not as powerful as the air on the other side. The side window remains frosted in cold weather. - Drivers side front window takes much longer to defrost than the rest of the window (two to four minutes). - Drivers seat is not near as hot as the passenger seat and both are set at the same setting Any suggestions would be appreciated. Happy New Year to all. Mechanical-idiot Edited January 1, 2018 by mechanical-idiot forgot some information
jkeaton
How are you verifying the seats? Could be one is getting worn out, broken heating elements since the drivers seat gets way more use than the passenger seat. They sell replacement heating elements at the dealer. Requires removing the seat coverings. Probably best the dealer does it if you are not that mechanically inclined. Same for the defrost issues. Sounds like blend door issues which are located in the HVAC ducting behind/under the dash and in the roof. mechanical-idiot
Thanks for the information. I will have to book an appointment with the dealer. Great suggestions and information on what is causing the problem. Passenger seat is much warmer than the driver seat, but now I know that it can be fixed easily. Thanks. mechanical-idiot jkeaton
