silenze
Hey guys. Took my son to disney world and my radiator cooling fan is not turning on. Temp gauge goes up when stopped and goes back down to normal over 40 mph Plenty of coolant. Just looking for a way to get the fan to turn on so i can make it home 1300 miles. 2012 v6 89000k
OhareFred
I’m not sure how the fan works, but check in the fuse box for a fan relay. It may have gone bad. Check the fan connections, they could be loose or dirty. I think there is a fan thermostat, maybe you can bypass that and have the fan run all the time. just a few “emergency “ ideas/fixes so you can get home.... jkeaton
2late4u
agree with Ohare on the fan connectors i've had 2 different vech that had burnt or melted connectors that connect the fan wiring to the wiring loom, also if possible to check for power at connector going to the fan for power. possible your electric fan has went bad so many things it could be just be careful and dont ruin your engine take it in to a mech if you have to.. jkeaton
silenze
The fuse was blown. I swapped it with the abs fuse. Did not help. Drove it back. Currently shopping for a new vehicle.
