Teej Filler
Has anybody experienced their master switch for the windows and doors burning? My 2012 journey suddenly started having his burnt smell inside when driving. Wife was driving when she smelled it again and smoke started coming out of driver side arm rest. When I got home, I Took the switch off the arm rest and it definitely smelled burnt. Harness and connectors didn’t seem burnt, door insulation did not look burnt either. Has anybody had this happen? OhareFred
Was the 2012 covered under the drivers side wire loom recall? If so was it done? I would think the wires would be melted but you never know...
mechanical-idiot
Not yet. I had a Pontiac Grand am that burnt some wires under the dash. Something wasn't working and a mechanic traced it to burnt wires under the dash. I almost lost it. Scary feeling. Better get it fixed in case it does burn. Hopefully not in your garage or driveway, or at the local gas station! mechanical-idiot jkeaton
