Bill1
I am looking at a 2014 Journey crossroad, push button start, the key fob does not have remote start. Does the car already have all the "stuff" in place and you only need to buy a remote start key fob and have it programed or is there all kinds of wiring and modules to install. Not worth it to me to add all the hardware. Thanks Bill
jkeaton
If you are purchasing froma dealer, you could ask them. There is other stuff involved. Not sure about the journey but when my son bought his 2016 Challenger, the dealer wanted $800 to install remote start. 2late4u
Doorbreaker
https://moparonlineparts.com/dodge-journey-remote-starter-p-6014.html Takes about 2-3 hours to install, then you get the new fobs programmed in and the dealer has to add the sales code to make it work. And just how do you get it to the dealer, since the new radio module needs to be learned in before it can be started. I believe this is a dealer-install item at best. larryl, jkeaton and 2late4u 1
