Mr. Fix it
Hello Fellow Journey owners! I'm very happy to have found this forum about the Dodge Journey. My wife and I have been downsizing the fleet and replaced our daily drivers with a low mileage 2010 Journey SXT 2wd White Gold Clearcoat. It's a low mileage at 71,000km's 3.5V6 6 spd auto. I'm hoping to get up to speed on how these SUV's are making everyone happy or sad about ownership here & how to tackle anything that needs attention in the future. This one has a few mechanical challenges to sort out and I am hoping I have made a good choice on this one. We hope for many years of enjoyment to come. This is our 3rd Dodge in 5 years with the other 2 being classic 66 Polara convertible and a 1st year 1960 Dodge Dart Seneca. jkeaton

Armando G
Welcome. Good looking DJ...looks well maintained (at least visually). This is a bit of a change from the Dart and Polara.

Mr. Fix it
Thanks, it’s very nice other than the previous owner smoking in it. I have an appt booked to get it cleaned and ionizing treatment to kill the smell off jkeaton
jkeaton
Just a heads up, don't know how many miles 71000 km's is but the 3.5 has a timing belt that needs to be changed at certain mileage intervals.

It’s the equivalent to 40000 miles approximately jkeaton

I think the interval is @100,000 miles. Owners manual maintenance schedule will tell you.
