machm1970
My 2012 SXT is having shifting issues, specifically it won't shift out of first gear. I disconnected the negative battery cable a few times and that fixed it for awhile, but not anymore. A shop scanned it and said they got a code for the shifter solenoid. I see I can purchase a new one for around $150. I'm pretty mechanical, but I can't find any info on where the solenoid is located or how to replace it. Has anyone else had this shifting issue? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Matt
machm1970
FIXED! I located 2 speed sensors on the trans that are easily accessible by taking off the front driver's side wheel. Total for both was $60 so I decided just to change both. I have looked at a few other posts on here regarding the same issue, but people don't seem to post what the fix was, hope this helps someone else. Armando G
Any chance you took pictures of their location while you were down there? And congrats on getting it fixed.
