Arenivas
I own a DJ 2.4l and I need help or guidance on installing the molar engine oil cooler. I have searched and searched but seems like people only talk about the 3.6l. I took a short drive from San Antonio Tx to Brownsville TX in very humid 98 degree weather and my OIL TEMP went up to 240 degrees. Everything was running fine it was still very responsive. I just want to help it stay cool as it gets very hot and humid.
2late4u
take it to your local mech and let him install or get his opinion weather this would work for you.
Armando G
Not knowing the exact particulars of your car, have you considered changing the oil you use in your car before adding a cooler? Technically a temp of 240 degrees is still within the acceptable level. Changing, or using full synthetic may help reduce that. A thicker grade oil may also help in hotter weather (depending on which viscosity you are using). Just thinking there may be easier options for you. jkeaton
