ups4
Have any of you 2009 owners tried to do a plug change yourself yet? I popped the hood of my 2010 when we got it home and pulled the stupid plastic shroud off to see that the aft 3 plugs are covered by some sort of apparatus. They seem to be unaccessible without the removal of whatever this thing is. I've changed the plugs of my Liberty and my wife's previous Compass before with no problems. They both have the coil pack for each plug configuration also. What's the deal here? Paul

ups4
intake manifold .. that's the thing So did you change your plugs? I can't see any way to access the rear 3 plugs without removing the intake manifold. I'll be damned if I'm gonna let Chrysler charge me an arm and two legs just to change the spark plugs. There's probably some special tool they have that's only available to certified mechanics that allows you to do this without removing the manifold....right? Paul
crunkfrunk
Check a place like AutoZone, they have a lot of the special tools that allow you to use the same things mechanics have beacuse someone always get the design and copies it
