Problem With Uconnect And Cell

I have a 2104 Journey SXT with Uconnect.  I am having the following difficulties with incoming and outgoing calls using my Samsung A5 cell. 

Incoming - calls are routed without my transferring them to my cell rather than being heard through the infotainment system. 

Outgoing - calls can be made but when the other party answers the connection is again routed to my cell without me making any transfer.  When I disconnect the call through the system and try again, Uconnect says that no phone is paired with it.  Any insights or suggestions would be appreciated.  Thank you

I have tried several other phones with the same problem occurring intermittently.
