alex jb
Hi folks, I was wondering if there's a software hack to get the mygig system to read dvd's that are from other regions? we have stacks of DVD's from the UK as we only moved to the US 2 yers ago and don't want to have to re-buy all our disney classics etc. The kids re getting sick of the 3 US dvd's I bought last christmas! Also, I've coppied music from a dvd of mp3's to the hard drive, even from my windows mobile phone to the hard drive, but can't seem to copy movies to the hard drive and get them to play back. Don't know if it makes a difference, I have the infinity system with nav and rear roof mounted screen from the factory. Thanks in advance and a happy new year to all! Alex JB. alex jb
That's a good idea, my Laptop tells me though that I have '2 more changes left' between regions. Not sure what that means!... is it going to burst into flames if I go over?! It's currently on US DVD's (region 2?) so I guess I should try burning some of the avi films I have on my hard drive to US region dvd.
