andyman6
Paint bubbling on liftgate. Anyone else having this issue? I'm sure dealer will blame rust proofing.
2late4u
i believe the lift gate is aluminum like the hood
Summer Solstice
Here is a related thread. The issue did get resolved. Persistence was key but style of approaching the dealer matters too.
andyman6
Quote 'The issue as determined by the body shop was that some oil had gotten onto the inside of the gate, which is made of a somewhat porous type composite, and it acted like a solvent and lifted the paint-base. Likely happened when I had it oil undercoated which I highly recommend....but do not let them spray inside that rear gate!" I have a feeling this isn't going to go well....so is Krown at fault then?
