daquick
Hi, I have a 2015 Journey RT with 58000 Km on it. I live in British Columbia Canada so drive a lot in the mountains. On a recent trip I experiences a grinding sound when applying brakes at speed and going downhill. During normal city driving the sound is not there. I took it to my Mechanic for inspection and he advised that the Pads were still at 60% but the rotors were warped and in poor shape. He says he has never seen this before. He says for the distance driven the pads should be worn more buy appear to be very hard and wearing on the rotors?? Anyone heard of this ? jkeaton
Probably glazed the pads. Replace everything with quality aftermarket parts. mechanical-idiot and OhareFred
