Andylwilson Posted June 30, 2019 Report Share Posted June 30, 2019 Does anyone know which exhaust gas temperature sensor this will be on a 10 2L diesel I haven't had it in the air yet but I'm wanting to buy the part ready, I'm assuming they have more than one are they all the same part but in different places? JimBobLeNob Posted August 3, 2019 Report Share Posted August 3, 2019 P242d Possible Causes Faulty Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor (EGTS) Bank 1 Sensor 3 Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 3 harness is open or shorted Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 3 circuit poor electrical connection Exhaust leaks Excessive particulate matter buildup on sensor I am guessing that you have had this fixed by now Andy?
