Royrut
I just bought a 2016 Dodge Journey with a 6 speed transmission. It the awd sxt but anyway when I’m just cruising around town (low speeds) and I coast time a stop it sometimes feels like I’m going over rumble strips and it sorta feels like it’s stalling as well. There are no active recalls on it. I was just wondering if anyone had the same issue have any tips or advice. Also if I get on it on an on ramp or something it whines sounds like a super charger not sure why it does that or is that because it’s awd? Idk any help would be appreciated. Thanks
2late4u
the transmissions does have a learning period on your driving habits, and i have the fed version so cant respond on the awd version ,that said your driving experience should be smooth and trouble free, give it a bit more time and if it is still acting up then you could go by the dealership if you still have any power-train warranty left

Royrut
I’ve had it for a little over a month and there’s only about 800 miles left on the power train warranty.
2late4u
well your best bet is to get it into the dealership to have it checked out if you are thinking possible trans problem these 6 sd trans ARE expensive, good luck

Hi Royrut, I certainly understand why this would be concerning. I recommend connecting with your local certified FCA dealer, as they are in the best position to assist. Please know that our team is available via private message should you require any additional assistance during that process.
