skimsurf Posted July 24, 2019 Report Share Posted July 24, 2019 ive been chasing a stalling/lurching issue for a few mos now. it started in march or april with a horrible knocking sound. i thought it was rocker arms, and replaced 6 of them, 3 in the front, 3 in the rear. anyhow, the noise persisted(its a 13 sxt with a 3.6l awd btw)anyhow, 3 mechanics later, crank sensor replaced, oil pressure sending unit, and a hard reset by me, its still doing the same thing. if i come to a stop, i have to stand on the brakes or itll try and go, like im giving it gas. i also noticed a bucking feeling going down a hill at around 50 like its having trouble shifting. there is no where to check the transmission fluid, and apparently nowhere to add it either. when first started itll hang out around 1500rpms for 20-30 seconds. then finally back off to around 800. i had a garage check it out today, and the code pulled was p06de. ive read that dealers will reflash the pcm for such a code. im lost. anyone else have this happen?
