Ape
My 2010 Journey SXT has been having an issue for a while where it will die after starting the engine and putting into drive or going over a bump or dip. Say I drive over a bump... the RPMs dip way down and the vehicle will either completely die or struggle for a second and then come back to life. The check engine light will also come on at this time along with the stability control and/or the ETC red lightning bolt. The check engine light and stability control will eventually turn off, but comes back if I drive over a bump or dip. When the ETC red lightning bolt comes on, I will reset it by shutting the car off, turning the ignition to "on", slowly depress and release the throttle, and the start the vehicle. At this point, I'm wondering if everything is revolving around the ETC Body, but I don't know. Any help is appreciated.

Summer Solstice
Check all of your power connection also, including battery cables, alternator connections, and grounds. Make sure they are tight and corrosion free. jkeaton and 2late4u
