deanori
Hi, I purchased my 2009 DJ in March 2013. I love my Journey! I too will be driving it until the wheels fall off. It currently has 158,000 miles on it. The first thing I had to replace was the cooling system overflow container. It had been installed incorrectly which caused the seam to split. I do as much of the work myself as I can, however, crawling underneath is challenging. Being a 64 year old widow can have its drawbacks, but I love doing my own wrenching as much as my car? Main repairs have been maintenance related (replaced timing belt, wheel bearing hubs, brakes, etc), nothing major. I do & have always done regular oil/filter changes every 3,000-4500 miles. However, I have 3 concerns I need help with & that's why I'm here. Edited November 15, 2019 by deanori

deanori
Thanks, my family owned a service station in Lake County, California. I spent my whole time growing up fishing & under the hood of a car or in the pit. In my opinion, there's no better smell than dirty old car grease, lol. 2late4u

Huge difference when you get into an old car as opposed to these new cars. Smell brings back memories.
