Armando G
No easy way to fix wiring. Just a lot of testing, fixing, and/or replacing. Just check if anything is binding on the door, then start disconnecting, checking for corrosion, and cleaning, reconnecting tightly, or replacing. OhareFred
I am wondering if it’s the switch. Wiggling the wires may be making contact..... 2late4u
Bill W
Did you ever figure that out? Same problem m. I’m hearing same sound. Bought a new switch, worked for 3 days and now same issue. Odd thing is the new one stays in auto down when I plug in. I plug in the old one and up is the only direction that works??
wpginterceptor
im having this issue now.. its the wiring where the door meets the car! next time it happens, hold the door wide open and use the switch, then the windows will work... close the door and doesn't work again... JhamB
Sounds like a connection or a ground in the wiring from the door to the body. I have seen this issue before but I am not sure what wire it would be.
