dragonaut
hi! All the controls in the steering wheel stopped working, including the horn. The dealer wants to charge 200+ to replace all the controls but it sounds like a blown fuse to me. Does anyone know if there's one fuse for all the controls and where to find it? Thanks! 2late4u
sounds a lot like its the clock spring, but could be something else but no its not a fuse as all the different thins have different fuses...good luck and report back on what you find larryl, Grendi, Armando G and 1 other 1
Armando G
From experience, if your horn is out it is probably your clock spring. You can test your horn by connecting a wire to the positive wire and touching your positive tower on the battery. If it beeps, then it's not a fuse or wiring - it's your clock spring. If it doesn't beep, then the challenge begins... start checking wires. Replacing your clock spring is not hard, just time consuming and you need special tools to remove the steering wheel. Tools can be rented. 2late4u and Grendi
