Sheryl
So I bought a used 2010 Journey back in December 2019, as of February 14th the alarm and remote start will go off by itself. I don't even have to touch the fob. I thought maybe one of the buttons was stuck but it doesn't not appear to be the case. How do I fix this issue? Sheryl
Thank you. Hopefully I don't have to go that route but I will if I have to.
larryl
Could be as simple as the battery in the fob or the battery in your vehicle OR it could be more complex sadly jkeaton
OhareFred
If the car is starting by itself I think it’s more then a fob battery issue. The car is getting a start command from somewhere. I suppose you could take the batteries out of both FOBs and see if it still happens. Thinking you may end up at the dealer. jkeaton
