Popping Sound In Reverse

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

i have a 2014 journey and I only seem to get this noise after the car has been sitting, and then go to back out of the garage. I dont seem to notice it when driving, turning, going over any bumps or anything that all other forums have described. I cant seem to find anything wrong. Could the brake caliper be sticking, hot onto the rotor and then "popping" to unstuck itself after cooling and sitting?Has anyone had something similar? I hate to just start throwing parts at something if someone else has found the cure.

Thanks!

Hi Backdraft21, We certainly understand why this may be concerning. We kindly recommend having your dealer inspect this concern for you as they are in the best position to assist. If you do work with your dealer, we would be more than happy to provide you with additional support.
