Andru1337
Hello, I own a 2012 Journey (5 passenger model) and my second row seats won't slide forward. They are currently in the most rearward position but they won't move at all. I would like to slide the seats forward to gain access to the bolts holding the seats in because I want to remove them. Should the 2nd row be able to slide in the 5 passenger model or are they fixed? Andrew

Andru1337
from what I can see, the slide lever doesn't seem to be connected to the seat because when I pull the lever up I don't hear hear any audible click. However, the recline lever works and makes an audible click when pulled up Edited March 25, 2020 by Andru1337 typo
Journeyguy23
I have had the same problems with my 2nd row. I don’t want to pull it too hard in case it breaks. It should be a normal steel bar under the seat if you ask me.
2late4u
went out and checked mine again and yes it does slide forward but it is a real hard push not like how easy the front seats move, best way to slide mine forward was to put one hand towards the rear as far as you can then raise the leaver and push forward, might help if you have someone lift the lever and you use both of your hands to push it forward.also to get to the rear bolt it looks like you could access that bolt by removing your foldable rear floor and reach it from that angle good luck
probak118
Thought mine would not slide to adjust either, then neighbour said you need to pull hard on both lever and the seat. Maybe because the rear seats are not moved much, not as easy as the fronts ? jkeaton and 2late4u
