2010 SXT transmission flash update

Hi y'all. Thought I'd share a tidbit. Had my '10 Journey in for some body work and asked the service tech to check my tranny because 1st to 2nd was a little clunky. According to the invoice they reflashed the PCM with an update. I've had it since early November '09. Hope it solves some issues some of you have had with rough shifting... :)

Hey Diggit, how did the trans flash work out? Any repair info on operation # I might ask for same, thanks

Can't find the receipt at the moment (go figure) but I gave them a symptom- that it was hard shifting 2nd to 3rd. Told me there was a software update for tranny. After the flash, much smoother shifts.

Any update on this issue? I have a 2010 AWD R/T model. I find the downshifting clunky and rough. I don't know if it's just me, but I came from driving a German automobile and the shifting was buttery smooth. Couldn't feel a thing. With the Journey, downshifting is sluggish. I can feel the shifting. I just wanted a confirmation that this is normal for an American car?

Any updates? Is it still smooth. I have had my Journey 6-speed Auto since June 2008 with tranny shifting issues. Flashed a number of times with no luck.

Possibly this is a newer flash than I currently have. I lost hope months ago but you are giving me new light (I hope).

Let me know soon so I don't light the vehicle on fire to remove my misery. :)

Thanks.
