Flare
I'm not using my 2012 Dodge Journey Crew at all due to COVID-19. I've used it 3 times in the last 2 months and it may continue to be the case for the foreseeable future. Should I put a fuel stabilizer to prevent the gas from going bad? If so, which one should I use?
jkeaton
IMO don't think it is necessary, just start it up every now and then, but if you feel the need, Lucas is a good brand.
John/Horace
Super gas has more additives so a better shelf life I have always heard. Its also dirt cheap now. For small engines that get stored and hate ethanol it is recommended by repair shops. Stabilize can’t hurt but IMO not really needed, like moderator is saying, starting car so battery charged and engine parts get lubricated etc probably more useful. Drive around block to get rust off rotors and mechanical parts get cycled a bit, even better. jkeaton and 2late4u
